  • WOW you look about 20 years younger now! So inspiring!
  • You can do it! What's the Easter Challenge?
  • I'm 5'2" and I've let myself balloon up to 170lbs. Goal weight is 120-130, depending on my body fat and how I look at that point.
  • I like SpiruTein. It is made from the Spirulina algea, which has a lot of vitamins as well as protein, and comes in many delicious flavors such as red velvet cake, cappuccino, chocolate peanut butter swirl, and apparently they have a "SpiruTein Junior" which is formulated for kids so that would be a plus! Here is a link to…
  • Biological Systems Engineering! We are similar acjoplin!
  • I like to dip baby carrots or pretzels in guacamole.
  • I love this recipe! Eggs inside a baked potato. http://www.ourbestbites.com/2012/02/an-idaho-sunrise-egg-stuffed-baked-potatoes/ You can skip the butter and cheese to cut calories and put veggies inside (I have used cooked frozen veggies). It's so yummy! I just "bake" the potato in the microwave first to speed up the…
  • You should definitely be eating more.
  • Nice job on the loss! Keep listening to your body and do what makes you feel good and healthy. Don't mind the haters. A lot of people on these forums are always ready to attack...
  • I've noticed I'm always short on iron, as well (I hardly eat meat). I have been taking vegetarian multivitamins and the recommended serving is 2 tabs which gives 18mg (I guess they assume mostly women are vegetarian) and that brings me to 100% on MFP as well. I guess men could adjust the iron goal in MFP if they do track…
  • I like the big portion sizes because then I get to take leftovers home and enjoy the meal again!
  • My goal is different than yours, but I would be happy to be a positive friend if you'd like to friend me! :)
  • Your waist is so tiny!!! What a gorgeous hourglass figure you have achieved!
  • I work at Burger King, so I end up eating it a lot. If you take off the mayo, cheese, sauces, french fries, and soda, the nutrition isn't actually all that bad. At that point, though, it is more economical to get the supplies at the grocery store and make it yourself because that's basically cutting out the things people…
  • "Unfortunately, he is really overweight and too big to fit on them." I think it sounds like he may be jealous that you have developed a much healthier lifestyle, and seeing you make good decisions is making him feel bad about himself and lash out on you...
  • Great job! What a great reminder of how far you've come!
  • It seems to me that EVERY single post on here has some people making rude comments, thinking they know it all... I want a HRM, and a shopping spree for new skinny clothes :) also a new car would be nice for my ultimate goal!
  • Eating healthy and doing 30 day shred will work! It is posted on youtube for free, too!
  • It looks like you have lost a lot from your waist and hips! Your thighs also look slimmer. Great progress!!!
  • I am a night owl and like to sleep in so my meals are: Morning-noon (From when I wake up at whatever time to noon) Noon-2pm 2pm-5pm 5pm-8pm 8pm-Midnight Late Night (anything after midnight until I go to sleep) If you decide to log it as the next day, though, just make sure you are consistent with it!
  • I am in the same situation as the OP. I get down, right when people start noticing I've lost weight, I gain it all back :( After reading this post I realized I can't visualize myself skinny. When I try, my brain just sort of shuts down...maybe I need to meditate or something...
  • Mayo Clinic says: "Alli can help you lose weight, but the weight loss will likely be modest — perhaps just a few pounds more than you would lose with diet and exercise alone. The average weight loss for prescription-strength Xenical is about 5 to 7 pounds (about 2 to 3 kilograms) greater than diet and exercise alone after…
  • I guess being a poor college student has it's benefits...I don't have enough food around to binge like that!
  • I like Spiru-Tein. It is all natural and comes from plant-based protein(the algae "Spirulena") so it is packed with lots of healthy vitamins and nutrients! They offer some unsweetened ones. Livestrong has a good article about it: http://www.livestrong.com/article/316219-spiru-tein-weight-loss/ Edit to say: They are…
  • -hot coffee or hot tea. Just without a lot of cream and sugar...those really stack up the calories! -protein shakes! I drink one in the morning and it keeps me feeling full for hours! I like to get the all natural kind, then blend it with organic almond milk, bananas, and honey! -fruits and veggies- I feel full right after…
  • If I can tell it's going to be horrible, I'll step outside or try to hold it, but otherwise yes. One time he said I "farted on him all the time" so I told him I was going to unleash my farting potential. He slept on the other side of the mattress for the night......
  • I think it is very pleasant when someone smells nice at the gym. I would say go to a department store with a perfume/scent section like Dillard's, JCPenney's, Von Maur, etc and ask the clerk for help or just sniff around until you find something you like!
  • If you are extremely overweight right now, it might be possible. The more you lose, the slower and harder it is to come off...

  • You are probably pear shaped like me. Pear shaped women tend to lose weight from the top, then the butt and thighs are usually the last thing to go. I lose inches and inches off of my waist and hips but my butt and thighs just don't budge!
