  • Hi ya. I have just been diagnosed hypothyroid and am on day 6 of meds. I'm noticing a difference so that's good but I just weighed myself and oh my god I've packed it on. I must be up about 5-6kg since my surgery in September, so I am a bit heartbroken. Is there a group on here or would someone consider making one?
  • Hi ya. My wee boy is almost 6 months old now and I've only in the last few weeks been able to take the weight loss seriously. I fluctuated a lot and have never been so hungry as when I started breastfeeding. I lost 10kg immediately after birth, but had about 7 lingering. I then fluctuated right up and had about 10 to lose.…
  • I'm alive to the power of two. 31 weeks preggo with 1st bub. Baby making me fat. Was 4 kg off my goal, now 14. But still logging, healthy mostly and round.
  • started at 82kg (180lbs) and currently 73.8kg (162lbs). I am 165 cms (5'4) The weird thing is that I wear the same size - NZ size 12 (which is about a US size 8-10 I think), however things are MUCH looser on me, and sometimes I think I should try a size 10. I am hoping to get down to a solid size 10 sometime, around about…
  • a full bowl of berry cluster crisp - none of this measuring crap caramel macchiato from starbucks pumpkin soup with full fat sour cream and LOADS of bread (the pull apart stuff) Nachos, burritos, or something cheesy and mexican cookies and cream ice cream with chocolate crackle and peanut butter. Actually, this used to be…
  • absolutely go and seek professional counseling, perhaps with a psychotherapist? Good luck with finding resolution.
  • when I drink wine, I measure it out. generic red wine is about 80 cals for 100mls. It seriously helps to know how much you are consuming.
  • I love a good dark chocolate. LIndt is great, and I love those little Lindt dark chocolate truffles. My all time favourite dark chocolate is either a raw chocolate, or Whittakers dark ghana. So so yummy. I have to say though, I love ferrero rochers, but HATE the noir ones.
  • That's great! Loving there are so many New Zealanders on here. I tend to keep MFP and Facebook quite separate, but spend equal time on each! Anyone feel free to add me. I live in the Wellington Region, on Kapiti Coast. I also have a 22 month old pooch, who it would be just be inhumane to not exercise everyday. She's a…
  • Ditto. Hi from Wellington :)
  • LOL I did it wrong the first time!
  • Hi Twin!!! July 1st. Cancerians rule!
  • mustard or relish. my whole biological family seem to be relish freaks. it's a running joke with my hubby.
  • There is some equation you do, but I have forgotten it right now. I burn about 180 cals in the 20 minutes, which feels about right for me! Just search in the discussion field "how many calories burned during 30 DS"
  • Hi All, This is my first time doing 30 day shred, and so far I love it. I've just completed day 1, level 2, But I am keen to follow through til the end of the year (with a little rest day around my friend's wedding in a couple of weeks. It;s always great to draw motivation from others doing the programme, too.
  • AMAZING! Congrats for finishing it :) I started level 2 today, and was proud that I could almost get all the way through it! I feel like I am getting much stronger - which may have something with me using 3kg weights (were way to heavy on day 2 that's for sure!). So much inspiration from your post - AND we have cat…
  • I actually blogged something really similar to this...it's so easy and SO yummy. I'm actually gonna have it tonight for dinner http://emmaandthebeanstalk.wordpress.com/2012/10/28/good-fast-food-the-slow-and-planned-version-stuffed-roasted-squash-and-other-things-delicious/
  • soup. but different flavours... does that count?
  • you are doing an awesome job at that! I see your little challenges and think it is so awesome. I have found on here that people are totally gun-ho at the start and giving each other pats on the back, etc...and then it peters out. I feel like I keep giving virtual high fives and it's not reciprocated. It's a bit stink. Good…
  • all these ideas sound so great. I have a cute wee squash in the cupboard that I am going to use today. Am going to roast it whole, scoop out the insides and fill it with mashed squash, breadcrumbs, vegemite, sea salt and cottage cheese. yum. I also love kumara (sweet potato). So much better than regular potatoes and so much…
  • Nothing, but contentment! Feeling better is just the reward that I need! Although, I may show off a little more......
  • Um...Tetanus!!!
  • I want to lose 8kgs initially, and possibly another 8 after that depending on how I look. And although It looks like I have lost nothing by my records on here, I have lost 3kgs since I started MFP again. My doctor told me to lose weight. That was a wake up call. I still don't trust BMI though...

  • I have a cheat evening every so often - usually once a week or so. When I was using MFP hard out last year I did this, and I worked around the idea that if I am still under my calories for the week then it is no big deal. If I don't give myself a break every so often I get obsessive and get emotional. So, why not just have…
  • feel free to add me too. Although, i'm a kiwi! Oceania represent!
