  • Thank you, my friend. I think you're pretty awesome too! Cheers!! :drinker:
  • It's at the top of my to-do list Thursday morning.
  • Me! I hope to complete my ACE certification by the end of May. I then would like to get an instructor certification for YogaFit and PiYo. I only wish I had decided what I wanted to do with my life when I was younger and not so tired!
  • I won $1000 last year, and $300 just last month. :drinker:
  • As far as supplements go, a good multivitamin is all you need. You do need a couple of days off, and then when you return, just do one workout. You don't need three hours a day to make a workout effective. Give 100% to one, and you'll be fine. Also, schedule a couple of recovery days a week. They don't need to be complete…
  • Overtraining plays havoc on the body's hormonal systems. Part of the problem is the elevation of cortisol, a catabolic hormone. This results in a number of things happening. To start with, it reduces secretion of growth hormones, decreases protein synthesis, and impairs the thyroid glands. This means overtraining leaves…
  • My list is long . . . Power90 Power90 Master Series P90X (four rounds) P90X+ Insanity (2 full rounds) Insanity/P90X hybrid Insanity/P90X+ hybrid One-on-One's ChaLEAN Extreme TurboFire (currently on week 5 & will be adding CLX strength workouts starting next month) I think that's it.
  • Those are bad dvds. If you bought them through Beachbody, you can contact customer service and they will replace them.
  • Oh Jess, if we had a nickel . . . Banks: Excellent post!! Thank you!!
  • I always do Pure Cardio & then Cardio Abs. It's perfectly fine to do Abs first though, and you will probably find that you get more out of it.
  • Here's the new thread: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/106693-p90x-starting-a-new-thread Yoga will help with the soreness in your legs. Your hamstrings will be nice and toasty.
  • You'll need the schedule, at least.
  • Let me know if you have questions about anything! And yes, you have to do yoga.
  • Well blow me down!! I didn't think I'd see the day you tried P90X!! You'll have a blast. Make sure he gives you the books too. I need some new pics; thanks for the reminder! :drinker:
  • Laura - This is the response I received from Coach Relations: At this time, the free t-shirt offer for TurboFire is only available within the United States. We still encourage Canadian residents to submit their transformation stories, along with before and after pictures, to SuccessStories@Beachbody.com. Sorry.
  • I did. I'm in California though, and they shipped it US mail. From what I understand, they will be available on a more widespread basis in October, but they will be individually priced at $19.99 at that time.
  • ME!!! I'm so in love with Bob right now!! The yoga workout is FANTASTIC, and the cardio conditioning workout gives me a calorie burn that exceeds my Insanity Month 2 workouts. The strength training workouts, I haven't done yet (plan to along with TurboFire) but I have previewed them. It's not heavy lifting; it's using a…
  • Hi Laura!! I don't see anything in the Terms & Conditions that says it's for US residents only. I'll find out for sure for you, though. I'm also going to double up with weights, but I'm not starting until the 12th. Next week will be my final week of CLX.
  • Hey! Did you guys know we can get a free TurboFire t-shirt after we complete the program -- just like we did with Insanity? Go to www.turbofire.com, and towards the bottom right, there's a link to print out the form. You'll need to take before & after pics & measurements, send in the form, and wait for your shirt to…
  • Looks like everyone is having a blast!! I received my package on Wednesday, but I'm finishing the last two weeks of CLX before I begin. I've reviewed the schedule and I'll be replacing the tone & sculpt classes with some other weight workouts (a little pink band just doesn't cut it for me! ). Other than that, I'll…
  • I know! I'm excited too! From what I hear, P90neXt will be released in the spring, and Asylum will come out in the fall of next year. I've also heard rumors that it will be like a One-on-One subscription thing, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Either way, I'm in on both! :drinker:
  • Another UPS stalker here -- My TF is out for delivery! And, here's a message from Chalene. She posted this on the BB boards: This is the real deal! My love… my passion. I can’t wait to have you experience this workout! With TurboFire, you don’t need to go to the gym to get a killer workout! Not everyone can…
  • Fall of 2011, I believe.
  • Mine should be here Wednesday!! I have three more weeks of ChaLEAN Extreme, but I'll start adding TF in next week. And then I also am thinking of doing a P90X/TurboFire hybrid. I've done five rounds of P90X, and it's been calling my name again recently. I've also done P90X+, ChaLEAN Extreme, and for the last…
  • I always have a small-medium banana as soon as I wake up. They digest quickly, so I can start my workout soon after. I've never had any issues with them, even with workouts like Plyo or Insanity. You do want some fuel in your system before you workout. Your body has been fasting all night, and it needs some fuel to push…
  • Since P90X was created as a fitness program, not a weight loss program, there is no calorie deficit built into the Nutrition Guide. When you do the calculations on page 5, use your target weight, not your current weight, to figure your nutrition level. Most men do quite well at level 2. Good luck!
  • I was also going to mention that you don't have to do all 90 minutes, even though you will benefit more from that. Do the first 45 minutes of moving asanas, and then fast forward to Yoga Belly 7 & the final stretch. That will cut it down to about an hour. Also, don't worry about the per-workout calorie burns. What's more…

  • You'll notice on the calendar that YogaX is the ONLY workout that is included in every single week of the program. Tony did that because yoga is that important. Yoga has many benefits, but the one you will see more than any other is an increase in your flexibility & core strength. Yoga engages all of the stabilizer muscles…

  • Thank you! That's sweet of you to say. By the way, I also use it when I'm not feeling well -- like yesterday when I got food poisoning. It made me feel a lot better. :drinker: <there's coconut water in there!
  • I've been using coconut water after my intense workouts for years. Love it, and I always feel great and ready to go. I've tried several brands, and like O.N.E. the best.
