I'm hoping for a VBAC too! I'm 35 and a half weeks and will start on the tea as soon as I get it from the grocery store this week. I've been told it really helps with labor and frankly, I'll take all the help I can get!

My goal, since I'm pregnant, is to maintain a healthy weight gain during this challenge. I'm 12.5 weeks now and I think I'm gaining too fast. Time to re-evaluate my eating habits!

Starting weight 181.5.

Go tigers!! Can't wait!

Bump!! I want to hear some tips too! I've decided to sign up and train for a sprint length triathlon as a sort of last hurrah before I try to get pregnant again. I considered trying a half marathon but I don't really like running all that much, at least not enough for a 13 mile race. So far I've just been practicing…

The calorie burn shown on Endomondo (at least for me) is ALWAYS significantly higher than what my heart rate monitor tells me. Just a word of caution, though who knows, it might be right for you.

You look amazing!! Your story sounds a lot like mine--similar height and starting weight (I'm 5' 8'') and my highest non-pregnancy related weight was about 207. I'm not sure how I let it get so bad... Plus I have a big sister who was always the thin beautiful one who I still look up to because she's seriously amazing. I…

I got a cute white shirt size medium and it fit! A little snug, but I think it'll be perfect after about 5 more pounds. I haven't worn a medium top since high school.

Dang girl!! Fantastic! Thanks for posting! You are inspiring!!!

I'm in again!! The last challenge helped me lose 4 pounds and 5+ inches, helping me break through a very long 4 month plateau. Thanks for all your hard work Sheri!

HA! I love it.

bump--gonna try it this week!

My husband and I have a LOTR (extended versions) marathon every fall, usually between Thanksgiving or Christmas, and I look forward to it every year. Can't wait until the Hobbit comes out and we can make it an entire weekend of marathoning! ETA: I wanted to add that I have read the books and love them. I tried to…

I love cooking chicken in my slow cooker. It's always moist and fully cooked. Yum! Tonight I'm giving this recipe a try--- Chicken Adobo 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1 cup water 2 cloves chopped garlic 1/2 tsp ground pepper 3 lbs chicken thighs (or a combination of thighs and drumsticks)----I'm using…

Way to go!! Congrats on your success!

I have this same issue with calorie info for eggs. All the confirmed and official looking entries for eggs, cooked in various styles, have widely varying nutrition info. I guess they assume that if you're scrambling an egg you must be adding butter to the pan, milk to the eggs, and who knows what else to make a 70 calorie…

bump--Gonna use some of these recipes this week! Thanks for the great ideas everyone!

That sounds yummy. How do you make them?

Congrats!! I am working toward that goal myself. :)

And somewhere in there you had a baby??? AMAZING!! That is truly inspirational. Congrats on your success!
-
bump---I'd like to try this if I can't kick my weight loss back into gear soon.
-
bump, those sound yummy! My banana muffins usually come to about 150 calories PER MUFFIN. Of course, I do add chocolate chips so I shouldn't be too surprised... :ohwell:

I see a big difference! Great work!!

You can actually log your nursing in your food diary. Just look up "breast feeding" or "nursing" (I don't remember which one I used) where you look up foods to add and it'll subtract calories so you can eat a little more.

Hi! I gained the "freshman 15", though for me it was more like 20 and I didn't do a whole lot to try and lose it. Then I got married and put on another 20 pounds over 4 years, then got pregnant and put on even more weight. I think the fact that you are aware and trying to lose this weight is a great thing. I was kind of in…

I'm 25 and have a little 9 month old girl. Feel free to add me if you'd like!

Wow, AMAZING job!!!! Thank you for sharing your story and helping me stay motivated!!

Bump--I've never had an injury or any joint pain before, but lately my right knee has been hurting during and after workouts. I'm thinking it may be a result of an intense hike I did several weeks ago. I love swimming but don't have access to a pool right now. I'd love to hear some ideas about exercises you can do in your…

Great job! I know how hard it is losing that baby weight. Keep up the good work!
