  • add me in. I technically have already started, but also planned on repeating a few weeks to reach some goals. Plus I can help with feedback :o)
  • Haha I call my running "slogging":: slow jogging haha
  • I used to get HORRIBLE shin splints. I recommend Asics. Don't just go for what looks nice, do the research. I can usually find them for $40 if its "last years style", but I splurged this year (Although it was $115, I did online research- found a coupon code and got them for $75). The sneakers will make the difference.…

  • I'm always more sore two days after, so I know what your talking about. Only you can tell how your body feels though, but for me personally I usually pop a Motrin an hour or two before the gym and when I get to the gym I make sure to do a few good stretches and warm up. I don't want to tell you to move forward with your…
  • bump... haha i wanna see some more playlists!!!!
  • Just did 2A today- I definitely felt it all over. Guess my first workout I was more worried about form so I didn't push myself. Today my squats were much better and did a higher platform on my step-ups- lovin the burn right now!
  • you look great! keep up the good work :o)
  • I just started on Monday. Starting workout 1B today. I'm still sore from Monday but its a great feeling because I know I got a awesome workout! Good luck next week and stick with it!

  • I use "I heart radio" and use their spin cycle channel... always great beats and I never get sick of the songs since its always different.
  • Doubt coffee is the issue, and if you are drinking up to 5 cups of coffee on some days I'm thinking if you quit cold turkey you are probably going to get headaches. Try to limit yourself to 1-2 cups.... I can't see your workout profile, but if you aren't working out you probably lost a majority of your weight through…
  • Glad you posted this, I'm really interested in it now. I don't know anyone that has done it, but I'm gonna look further into it. Thank you
  • I looked at your food diary. Honestly- the foods you are eating are super high in calories/fat and are jam packed with sodium (I just looked at the last couple days). If you are eating processed foods, or a lot of dairy, its harder for your body to breakdown and process. Just because you are under your calorie goal doesn't…
  • I did a search for my C25K app, but its a little light green icon with a white stick figure type on it and says 5K. Its is perfect, has running prompts and has a GPS tracker on it too (to record distance if you aren't using a treadmill). I forget how much it cost- might have been 1.99 when i downloaded it, but I love it.…
  • think i just read though that raisins are high is sugar, just check the box to make sure you find a good nutiritional brand (i think sunmaid was the high one). think i saw this on Women's Health Magazine- it was the one where you guess which food is better for you... I forget what the raisins were up against, but it turned…
  • this motto always helps me for some reason: "You never regret going to the gym, but you ALWAYS regret not going". Its very true- after a workout, I'm very satisfied. But if I don't go, I'm always think "I could have definitely fit in a workout, why did I drive by the gym?" It also helps that my gym is on my way home- so I…
  • here are some suggestions too: great sites that update music playlist recommendations http://www.inthegym.net/ http://www.gymdj.com/
  • My skinny goal would be 120. But once I get to 125, my plan is to really focus on core and strength training so while I wills till burning fat, I'm expectin muscle to replace that which will weigh more. So I'm thinking 125 is where I will end up staying, and I'm happy about that. Plus, I'm more of a pear shape, so I tend…
  • definitely incorporate squats and lunges. This will help burn and tone that area. I have the same problem, slim waist and fat ol' thighs haha, but the squats and lunges, and a mix of cardio should help you target that area! good luck!
