  • I like that one reply, "Have some faith." I'm on the same boat, and am equally frustrated. I passed my original goal weight a long time ago, and I keep lowering it more and more because after 2 years at this, I don't know any other way to eat. It's either weight loss more, or eat way too much mode, lol. So I choose weight…
  • I am TERRIFIED of starting my maintenance this time around. I've lost and gained the same last few pounds like 14 times, because as soon as I start maintaining, I lose control of my appetite and eat like a crazy person. When I'm in weight loss mode, everything makes sense, I know what I need to do, I know how much I need…
  • one day? i had 3 weeks where i freaked out and ate ridiculous amounts of junk food, i ate and ate until it hurt. i gained 5 pounds, and then you know what i did?? i took a deeeeeep breath. laughed at myself. and started over on monday. and look at that, im back on track, just like that. as long as you can collect yourself,…
  • oh and if you love cabbage, try chopping them up, like you're making coleslaw, but no mayo!! put in sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, lemon juice, apple vinaegar...many a teensy bit of salt. soo good.
  • BUTTERNUT SQUASH!!! roasted with a little salt and pepper, dash of olive oil. low calories, high vitamins, high yumminess!! and avocados. SO good.
  • i'm going through the same thing!! i used to lose 2-3 pounds a week when i started and now i'm struggling to push off just 1. it\s making sad, lol. we need to support each other to keep going!! increase exercise a little, eat a teensy bit better and have patience. it's SO hard to keep waiting...i'm super annoyed.but i will…
  • oooh i'm going to have to try that!! i've just become obsessed with butternut squash. i chop them up, season them and bake them till crispy. SO AMAZINGLY GOOD.
  • I always get a 6-inch turkey sub on whole wheat. Toasted, with cheese. Lettuce, olives, cucumbers, onions, jalapenos. Little bit of sweet onion sauce. BAM. Now I'm hungry.

  • i'm going to wear a skimpy two-piece bikini and run around on the beach. without hiding under a towel, without wearing board shorts and without sucking in my stomach. i'm going to hold my head up!!!
  • i go over sometimes! about once a week, if i've been good, and don't feel guilty about it. buuut if we're being completely honest, if i'm only over by a few calories i might go back and adjust a little somethin' somethin'. make me feel better!
  • I have this too!! I started working out really intensely in a short period of time and about 6 weeks in I was in absolute agony. My doctor said it was most likely tendonitis, an inflammation in the hip joints and tendons. I can't afford physiotherapy, so this is my "hip pain go away plan" 1. stop all cardio and exercise…
  • Zoe Saldana's got a pretty rockin' bod. Oh and there's this chick I work with who i'd like to freaky friday with and switch bodies, lol.
  • thanks melissa!! it all seems like common sense, but i guess things always look clearer from the outside. i'm going to try and swap out normal versions of foods on those days that i feel like i can't eat a lot.
  • i struggle with this all the time...but ideally what i do now is eat at least 1,100 net calories for the day to avoid going into starvation mode. it's the worst possible thing for weight loss. i've yo-yo dieted my entire life, because i never ate enough. you don't have to eat back all your excercise calories if you're not…
  • i went ahead and combined everyone's advice on my 5 km today. i had a banana for breakfast, waited 2 hours before working out, had water, breathed properly and as soon as a cramp showed up i raised my arm for a few seconds to stretch it out. guess what. my cramp disapeared!!! it came back 5 minutes later, but i did the…
  • thanks for your tips guys! i'm going to try some of them out today and let your know what works!!
  • i've noticed this too!! i go to work, then to the gym, then shower and nap. my social life is suffering a bit, hahah. my friend suggested i have more protein so i've been trying that....also, coffee. but i'm open to suggestions too, cause this kinda sucks.
  • dang you look hot! i'm gonna have to get on the insanity train.
  • this site is better than any other diet or weight loss program. there's no one telling you what to do..yet you still feel guided and supported the whole way, and have pretty much everything laid out for you. and you can always just come on and complain about how sick you are of salad. we understand.
  • i feel the same way. people are like "oh, just have a little bit" or you'll be out for dinner and they'll make fun of your salad with dressing on the side. weight is a legit issue for some of us. emotionally, physically and psychologically challenging. lean on others who struggle as well. like us!! alcoholics stick…
  • It is horrible!! And the hardest thing you'll ever do. But I promise you, as soon as the weight starts coming off it'll all be worth it. Are you working out yet? I found that, for myself, eating less and healthier was a hell of a lot easier after I started working out regularly. This is a great site to help you stay on…
