  • Start weight 12.12lb now 11.9lb Still a way to go, but getting there
  • Putting off holidays of a lifetime because it filled me with so much dread and anxiety, worrying showing my flesh off. Im 1 stone 3lb down and got another 30lbs to go. By Christmas it will be off.
  • Bloody hell!!!! What a fantastic job you’ve done! You’ve proven to me, that with dedication we can change our bodies!
  • Thankyou for answering my question
  • I find their database is rubbish. Hardly finds anything, so have to mess about with inputting it. I just can't see how they can call it 0 food because everything has a calorie. Also certain members on there are always trending, for stupid stuff.
  • Thorngumbald just outside of hull :-)
  • Hi Lisa. I can be a binge eater and pick at food a lot. Since doing this app, the weight is falling off me and it's made me so aware of how many calories I was consuming. So it has put a stop to me eating mindlessly and the weight is coming off nicely, to which I thought I was destined to be big. Good luck on your journey.
  • 17lbs difference. Way to go yet, but pleased up to now :-)
  • I'm 9lbs away from being in the 10 stone mark. Not seen that number since before my daughter was born 12 years ago. :-)
  • Wow what I difference!
  • Blimey you’ve done incredibly well!
  • Hi :-) Slow wins the race! I'm a great believer that it's the best way to go. Also clothes are great to go by aren't they! I just got sick of being in that mentality of diet clubs and the strictness. I want to have what I want as long as I log it on here. Good luck on your journey Hun :-)
  • I’m from East Yorkshire :-) good luck to everyone
  • I'll take a look now, thankyou! I'll also try and not to weigh myself. It's a habit and I do need to stop it! Do you think monthly is the better option? :-)
  • I really appreciate this! That's put it into a whole new perspective for me! I will admit I can fluctuate really badly. I'm a bugger for jumping on those scales quite frequently and getting disheartened and then thinking sod it and scoff loads of food. I also don't drink way as much water as I should and maybe this could…
  • Hi thankyou for messaging :-) Sounds really daft! But I don't feel tied, but feel free! It's like, it's put me in control and not been dictated to by another diet club, if you know what I mean. I'm going to aim for a pound like you a week. If I do that I'll be at goal by Christmas. Huge well done to you for giving up…
  • ^ Your ex was a jerk, you deserve better. MFP really works if you don't think of it as a "diet". By weighing and logging everything you'll see results. You'll learn to fit in any foods that you want, you'll learn that some days you'll go over and that's okay, just keep going. Good luck to you, you got this! :) [/quote] Awe…
  • lol. I used to eat a box of the toffee bars in one go
  • I will do just that! I'm about to finish my dairy for the day and I'm just under! Feels amazing I totally agree with you, it's all about money. I was in class last week and it was a full class about the products they sell! So boring! People on here are so friendly! I can't believe how many people like you, take time out to…
  • Hi :-) I felt exactly like you! I, just couldn't stop eating and felt I could eat loads! Blimey that is a fab loss in only 9 days! I hope I have as much success as you. Good luck on your journey :-)
  • You may have a point there! Not going into my whole life ;-/ but I did have an ex that called me a pig and fat etc. So that hasn’t helped!
  • First of all hi :-) and huge well done on your loss! That’s incredible! I’m not surprised your leader was *kitten* lol, I suppose end of day it’s a business and she won’t want to lose members by saying how good this is. I just found both clubs quite restricting and they didn’t really teach nutrition. Weightwatchers I was…
  • Hi I’m lisa from England and it’s my first official day of doing this. I’ve got a way to go, but I’m more concerned of how I look and health wise, rather than what the scales say. I’d be more than happy for new friends and to help you as well as helping me :-)
  • First of all, hi and Thankyou for messaging me! How long have you been doing this? It’s gives me hope that it works when I hear people’s stories on this. I’m going to give this a really good go and it might sound really silly! But I feel free if that makes sense! :-)
  • Hi :-) First of all, good luck to you also and well done from breaking free from those blooming clubs! There was a teacher at my daughters school and she had lost loads of weight. I asked her how she did it and it was this site. So that is why I looked this up and thought, why not give it a go :-)
  • Thankyou for replying to my thread, it’s really kind you have taken the time out to reply to me! I’m going to take your idea on board about adding fruit to a salad. That will take it to another level for flavour, Thankyou. :-)
  • Hi :-) I will take a look at them. Thankyou :-)
  • Thankyou for your reply’s! I will do as you all say. I was also wondering about herbs and spices and you have cleared that up for me :-) Like you also say, once you get a visual of the usual stuff you eat daily and know the calories, then there will be no need to weigh them every time. Thankyou :-)
  • That’s a really good way of doing it! But we have to live also at the same time. Any journey shouldn’t stop us enjoying what we do. It’s all about moderation. You will do it Hun xx
  • I’m sure you’ll rock what you wear! Nothing better than something to work towards! What I hate, is when I have an event coming up and think to myself I have 6 months to lose this amount and then I mess about with it and by time it comes round your still the same. I’ve done that to often and really want to put it to bed!…
