Awesome you look great. I like you followed the 80/20 rule and still do. I am down 55lbs since April of 2016 it's slow and steady and still have 20 to 25 more lbs to go. I'm new to mfp and I can't figure out how to add my pics0

I’m 5’11 and my maintenance calories are 2100ish. It took me about a year to lose 45 total.

What was your intake while you were losing? What sort of exercise were you doing? Teach me your ways!! You look great! (:

This is three months in and 40 pounds down. Just the difference in my face is insane. It’s the first part of my body that changed when I started living a healthy lifestyle. These progress photos are great to keep me motivated to never go back to being free willy.

I'm basically in a recomp right now. FAR from over, and still a long ways from what I would call my "goal weight" but my fitness is a MUCH bigger priority than a number on the scale. 4 weeks between these photos, I was working out before this, obviously still am, and am finally to a longer-term workout routine that will support my needs as a racer.
There is less than a 2 pound weight difference between these photos!
As a bit of history: I was getting pretty darn fit and the weight dropping near the end of 2016 when I badly broke my leg. Over the next 11 months I went through 4 surgeries and a lot of stress making sure I didn't lose my leg. Walking was a challenge most of the year. The stress meant I didn't have the energy or desire to worry about my weight or what I ate. I put back on 2/3 of the weight I had lost the previous year
I was finally able to return to "normal" workouts in late November, and have been increasing the intensity steadily since. Also started back to watching my intake and doing more cooking at home - and fitting my occasional "unhealthy" eating out into my calories!
