  • Hi! I have been there too - lost 28lbs last year but over the winter some of it crept back on....I am now back to 22lbs lost so i am getting there. I think alot of losing weight is that you have to be in the right frame of mind. Think to yourself 'I CAN do this, I WILL do this!' - imagine yourself in a few months time in…
  • That's great! :-)
  • Me too...exactly the same! I am hunting round for things that are sweet, filling and with no cals!
  • Hiya! Have added you as a friend and although I am in the UK my sister lives in California so I am nearly there :-))
  • Wow! You look amazing! You have spurred me on - thank you so much! :-)

  • Slendertone - a toning belt http://www.slendertone.com/c-4-shop-women.aspx Cut and paste this link and it will give you more info :-)
  • Ohhh - I know what you mean...I have had 2 C-Sections so I think mine is worse than someone who has had a normal delivery. A Slendertone really helped mine...didn't get rid of it but certainly tightened everything up so it looks much better.
  • Hiya! You are doing great with all that exercise and the no alcohol - what willpower!! Have you tried increasing the amount that you eat? A lot of times eating too little (and not coming up to the amount that is recommended for you) means your body will hold onto the weight in a kind of panic mode "OMG! What is he/she…
  • Hi! I am so sorry you are feeling so down...I think most of us have been there and know exactly what its like :-( Have you gone through the goals on this site? Worked out your calorie intake? Added your exercises to your calories burned? Are you eating enough? Sounds silly but not eating enough will mean your body holds…
  • You have come to the right place.....I have been here 3 months and have lost nearly 20lbs! The iPhone app is great too - instant access without all the fuss - no excuses to forget :-)) Good luck! Please add me as a friend if you would like to :-)
  • Hi diabear! I had one when I was a UK size 12 a few years ago (I think thats a US size 14?) and no - definitely not too big for it. Besides its what you want, not what anyone else thinks! The only thing I would say is that when I put weight on (which is why I am here) I had to take the piercing out as the bar got too…
  • Hi MeMe! Welcome to the 'club' :-)) Please add me as a friend if you would like!
  • Savoury Snack A Jacks...those rice cakes with flavours are good. I think you can get cheese.....sweet chilli flavours, probably more - savouries aren't my thing really. I have even seen marmite rice cakes. I rely on the sweet ones to get me through those cravings so maybe they will help you too? Not sure about the savoury…
  • Hi princessorchid! I have checked on Fitness TVs website but I can't find any reference to Virgin...mind you...couldn't find any reference to Sky either.... Might be worth a Google?

  • Hi G! Also in the UK and suffering from the heat....BBQs...Pimms....England football on Sunday...eating before because we were on a high and heck, does it matter...and then eating afterwards because we were on a low...and so it goes on. I've not put any weight on but I haven't lost either and each morning I say 'today...I…
  • I bought a great sport bra by Royce (I am a G cup). I bought it from a UK company called Bravissimo - link is here: http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sports-bras/royce/sports-bras/ro10-details.aspx?colour=white&ck=a76LCeLVSqE1huItORZHv%2bJnqTJRfIE%2bNwSMW4FJAqk%3d I am not sure if they post internationally but I…
  • When I first started the weight loss I wasnt going to use scales....simply because I was terrified what the starting weight might say and thought it might put me off starting. But I did go and get some and I am real glad I did....even a 0 .1 of a pound is important - just to see the scales moving the right way - however…
  • Wow!! They look gorgeous! And I am in the UK and they don't deliver here!!! I will just have to look at them online
  • Hi Rach! I would do the same as you with the gym etc. But don't beat yourself up about it if you don't manage to get there as often as you planned. Drink loads of water....swim lots...you might find you don't want to eat so much when its hot? Above all enjoy yourself! Have a great time :glasses:

  • Hi! I'm sorry you are feeling down.... :frown: I have 2 teenage daughters - 17 and 18 - and their circle of friends is constantly changing. Friends who seemed close move onto other things, other groups of friends. Some drift back, others don't. It's all part of growing up and discovering who you are. (Heck, I am 44 and…
  • Well...I would want to as well.....but maybe if you had got back on the scales in say 2 hours time you might have put it back on again? Bodies! They have their way of fooling us
  • Hi Linsey! Welcome to the site - its a great place for support and friendliness :-)
  • Oh wow! How brave! I am thinking of doing the same thing but, like you, a bit apprehensive about it. I guess, just be yourself and remember that it's their job and they will probably expect you to be nervous at first. A good trainer will understand this. I will be interested to see how you get on. Good luck and enjoy it!…
  • My daughters are 17 and 18......and here I am  Noooo....I guess it took around 6 months to feel that I was back into my normal clothes. And yes, it definitely got easier when I stopped breast-feeding and 'got my body back to myself', if you see what I mean. Sometimes its not losing weight it's more toning up the bits…
  • Hi Bree! Welcome to MFP - you have come to the right place. Great support from everyone for those days when it just seems too hard - we have all been there! Good luck with your journey!
