Elliptical trainer is pretty low impact compared to running on a treadmill. Give it a try.

I also LOVE beer and make sure to save a few hundred calories a couple times a week for it. In my opinion light and low cal beers are not beer at all so I have to save up a few extra cals when I want to have a few but it's worth it not to have to drink fizzy yellow water. :)

Lately at the gym I have been listening to a lot of Pantera, Sepultura and Testament. All three are great bands to get you pumped up.

Cutting out your favorite foods for the rest of your life is pretty much impossible and will drive you mad. Just stick to moderation and eat the things you love to eat.

Monday - Friday 45 mins of intense cardio and weights whenever I feel like it. Weekends are my two days off to rest.

I say go for it. It's not gonna kill you and you can't deprive yourself completely of the things you love or you will go crazy.

Yes! I splurged at lunch today and ended up very full and had to take some of my food home in a box(something I almost NEVER do). A month ago I would have scarfed it all down no problem.

I am going through the exact same dilemma in my head right now. Had a great day and worked out for the first time in weeks but now it's getting late and I'm getting bored and hungry. I came on here to get my mind off of it and try to find some more motivation. Seems to be doing the trick for me.
