I do not disagree with you. I have lost weight in just doing the basics of counting calories. I have been on the fence as far as discontinuing it.

I too have gained about 20 lbs I lost last year. I went to my doc office and met with dietitian. I am going back to basics. Journal everything. Food exercise and moods. Start one meal at a time. Plan each meal And snack. At least that's my goal. I am frustrated with the fact I have to redo what I worked so hard to get off.…

I wanted to reply and tell you that I am in the exact place you are. I understand the frustration you feel and feel the same way. I have began to begin at the beginning again. Keep a diary of foods, exercise and mostly journal how i am feeling. Sharon

Hey there... i know how that feels. Take a day or so and refocus on it all. Look how far you have come, whether it be 1 pound or a hundred. I look at each pound as 4 sticks of butter. I think I have to agree with the last poster. I think your age has a lot to do with it. The older I get the more I seee eating later in the evening my body doesn't burn it off. Frustrating for sure. I eat dinner around 6pm and other than water intake I don't like to eat in the evenings. Just water
