Congrats on losing 24 lbs already! What an accomplishment! I am (freshly) 28 and live in Indianapolis, IN. Joining MFP is a great thing, it has helped me see where my stregthens and weaknesses are. I can jog 3 miles now, I hate push ups, and I love lunges & squats. I have a confidence in my self now that speaks for its…

I usually have to double up and wear 2 sports bras. I am a 34D! I like to strap them down, especially around T.O.M. I will also buy tops with built in bras and also wear another sports bra. I find some really cute tops at Old Navy and usually on sale for like 7 bucks!!!

I use 6-8lb weights and do 8-12 reps for 3 sets. Sometimes I do will it while I watch tv until commerical or vs. You do want to feel some fatigue, that's how you know its working. Fatigue promotes change!

I will row sometimes to warm up before I lift weights. It breaks up the monotony of my typical elliptical workout. Its great for your arms, legs, and core. I had a trainer at one point and she also had me do this exercise as warm up going as hard as I could. Good luck!

I personally always eat something, usually oatmeal for breakfast. Its not right when I get up, but about an hour after I get to work and settle in. I find that it helps me keep from "snacking" until lunch.

Been there, done that! My fiance and I had our son and I ran into the store as I came out, my fiance got out of the car (it was running) to help me and hit the lock button on the door by accident. Luckily our little one was asleep and the pop-lock man came and saved the day. Free of charge! There is nothing comparable to…

I heard a saying that goes : "It takes 4 weeks for you to notice, 8 weeks for your friends to notice and 12 weeks for the whole world to notice" Keep at it, your body needs time to adjust and get acclaimated to the "new program".....at least 4 weeks!!! Dont forget to take measurements!!! Sometimes you will lose inches…

It usually takes 4 weeks for your body to adjust to diet and exercise. But even if the scale is not going down, have you measured your waist, hips, and thighs? My scale didnt move for the first 4 weeks, but I lost 4 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips. That means your toning when you lose inches. Then I lost 2 lbs,…

I totally get it! You spend all your money paying rent/mortage,groceries, bills, gas, and just plain supporting your child..... while this "father" gets to spend his cash on his own needs and wants. PAY ME MY MONEY!!! I always put my child's needs first. I dont get "free time", I dont get the option to say I am too busy to…

I have a digital scale and a dial scale....and they vary. The digital always says I'm higher. When I weighed my 2 yr old, his measurements come out accurate but mine vary by about 5 lbs. It has lead to stop focusing so much on the scale, but how my clothes are fitting and how I am looking.
