Great post MZ! Keep it going!

Didn't read where somebody said science has "nothing to do with it?" As you know it's all mathematical! Burn more than you take in and the weight will drop! However, if somebody praises their God, Allah, Buddha or whatever spirit they choose and it motivates them, then there is nothing wrong with that is there?

Great response GS! While I'm a believer in God, I'm always open to others contributions as to what "floats their boat, religious beliefs" or simply meditating and lighting candles to remove negativity etc. Sad how many "wig out" when they hear the word God!

Dime, That's great for you and very encouraging for me to hear! I'm a few years younger but I'm at the heaviest ever and I need to hear stories like yours! A heartfelt Congratulations to you! Enjoy your dinner, you more than deserve it!

Same here LJ! That's a good thing though since we all realize that this, (myfitnesspal) is the most reasonable, realistic way to lose weight. We all tried the short cuts but when our minds take a break from playing tricks on us, we realize this is the best way!

Personally, I sweat like a June bride in a feather bed so this wouldn't work for me. Sitting in an office feeling like I was wrapped in damp face clothes would be a distraction to say the least. So, having said that, have you considered a brisk walk or would that drench your body parts too?

And how is your partner suppose to calculate 1500 a day? Does he plan on guessing? Good luck with that! If one doesn't make the "life style eating change" then one will more than likely gain it all back regardless of their PLAN of attack to and including the highly paid advice of the Dieticians" I realize your more than…

Excellent, well said Molly!

I was weighing everyday or every other day and it was bumming me out! The water/weight fluctuations were discouraging. Nothing worse for me than to have a good day for example, weigh the next morning and see a half pound or higher gain. Quite frankly, that sucks! I weigh once a week on Friday's and it's working better for…

Ok, here's my scientific wild *kitten* guess, approx 10-11 ounces and assuming you didn't add stuff on top and you baked it..... about 325 calories.

Can't beat that advice! For those so inclined, adding a little hot sauce works wonders too but it's not for everyone...

As I get older, I have to laugh, (no disrespect) to those who are "dreading the holidays" with regards to weight loss and food! Certainly if you just started a weight loss program a week or two before Thanksgiving, then I'd probably be concerned with a big meal on that day as it can certainly derail your diet. But keep in…

Ah wisdom. Great answer!!!

Eva Mendes........... not just eye candy but a 7 course meal!

I don't do P90x mostly because I can't and don't want to at this point in my life but I do know there are 3 levels of nutrition in the P90x program. Sounds like the 3000 calorie program, called the (Endurance Maximizer) is the level this woman's daughter is at. Double workouts = big time caloric intake with emphasis on…

Excellent response, she'll see soon enough on her own!

Thank you!

Sounds like your setting yourself up for failure based on your comments! Good luck!

Becky, Excellent reply!!!

MM, it's so cool! At dinner tonight, I wasn't sure how to add the different foods in the wok so I scanned the chicken, black beans, olive oil, diced tomatoes all by the UPC code then adjusted the serving sizes. The only thing I looked up was the veggies which were steamed with the rest. Easy and actually fun!

No fat, fiber or protein I'm aware of. Carbs and sugars yes! Now depends on what your mixing the alcohol with will dictate whether there is fat or proteins included. Example; 1.5 oz of vodka is 97 calories. No fat, protein or carbs! Now if you add the vodka to chocolate milk, (bad choice for good vodka) then you need to…
