Salam Sis Logging your meals stays the same its just that you don't fill out the lunch section as thats really the main meal we miss. I log my Suhoor meal as breakfast and Iftar meal as dinner. Snacks and drinks are logged as normal.

Salam sisters I've managed to keep weight off two Ramadans now, inshallah I can do this same and stay away from all the tasty fried foods at Iftar. Feel free to add me so we can support each other. xx
-
I weigh myself before Iftar
-
I agree and that's also my plan this Ramadan.

I think if you can manage to stick to your calories, log diligently you will be fine. Even if you cant get a full workout in try going a long walk. I think being active even from a mental point of view during fasting is really helpful. Especially when it gets hot, being active helps that sleepy feeling. Just plan ahead…

I'll also be observing Ramadan this year and I intend to continue working out, scaled back but I will carry on with it and logging. Do you have a 24 hour gym that is close by you? I managed it last year until the last few days and would go to the gym for 30 to 40 minutes and get home in time to shower then iftar. I was…

I agree! Bump Would be great to hear what everyone's plans are.

My current macros are 50/50/20 the plan is to try to make my protein intake a priority as this will help with maintaining muscle.
-
I'm fasting this year and I'm planning on going lighter on weights and doing superset instead. The goal is to just maintain my muscle during Ramadan. Last year I worked out just before Iftar. I'll try the same this year and if it's not working then I'll do it after a light Iftar meals them I'll eat properly once I've…

Hey, I did Ramadan last year and managed to track and still workout. I plan on doing the same this year too. It's definitely hard especially when you go to Iftars etc but my advice would be to do what you can. Trust me even though it's a small eating window this year, you could still go overboard with no tracking.…

I cook for myself so keeping my nutrition fairly on track has been ok. A huge lack in consistency in my workouts though. I still log everyday but my diary does look loco lol.

Welcome back hun and goodluck, friend request coming your way

Sorry original poster, I really want to start lifting and you have some experienced people commenting... what what you advise a newbie lifter to buy for home weight training. I only have 5lb dumbells and a 6kg kettlebell both are now to light for me. Once again sorry OP :)

My ex once told me I should be grateful that he was with me because at least he stuck with me when I bigger.... people say some stupid ish.

Basically what mine are now *CRIES* I think this has been the worst part of losing for me as there soooooo horrible now, They resemble an old deflated balloon and even with a good bra they don't sit, they kinda just flop and cant fill the cup. Sigh... I am actually considering surgery when I reach my goal weight, its not…

Will head home and start again today, I agree I should at least give it a try for a week again before i make a decision. Thanks for the feedback
-
I'm sure there are stores but I bought mine online because the idea of carrying them home by hand was scary lol. I got mine from amazon
-
Oh wow soooo many options, thank you guys! I will have a look on those sites and figure out what will work best, I definitely don't want to spend that much more on groceries than I already do so making them myself when I have the time sounds great, then buy a few for back up.

I am really surprised by this too, I have cut back on my drinking because it throws me off as I am getting older but when I am going out to drink... I drink and I am pretty sure it ends up being more than 10 drinks. Everybody has different levels of drinking and as long as it is not an on going thing or becoming an issue…

Haha I had to through fear of potential attack, i have seen some post get nutty. Thanks so much xx

Congratulations on your own weightloss, you look amazing in your progress pics. I do need to pay closer attention to my macros especially my protein levels, it was worse before so get getting a little better. I suppose at this stage the fine details really do count. Thanks for the add btw

I posted this very early on today, I've calmed down a little and decided to just roll with the punches. I have to trust the process as long as I am honest about what I am doing it will come off eventually. :)

Very true I see people complain about it a lot but thats normally because they stall on the scales. It's very scary because my goal weight may change once I get there and will probably be even more of a nightmare to get off. I suppose I need to trust the process. Thanks for taking time to feedback :)

Thanks! Those numbers definitely put things in to perspective even as ball mark.

I am 96lb down and it has been a weird and wacky journey, I honestly have to say I was not the most knowledgable when I first started but I set small goals like many others have mentioned and once I lost the first 2 stones... I was ermmm I can so this and I almost became addicted to the results. There are always good…
