Me too, have not lost any weight. I'm almost done level 3 and so far down 5.5". Learning to not pay attention to the scale, and really enjoying seeing definition in my body :) OP: your results are amazing! Congrats!

This is awesome. But also scares me for having children in the future. I only hope that i can instill good things in my children's heads and hope that they all have better body image then I did growing up. I have to remember this story. Thanks for sharing!!

I started a little bigger than you and my goal for now is 170. Feel free to add me :)

Agreed! If you can talk to a professional who specializes in lifestyles changes like this can be super helpful, especially when you have a hard time getting around. You can lose the weight without exercise, for the first while anyways. Maybe some weight loss will help you slowly get into some low impact exercise like…

From Victoria, BC here! Don't feel bad about the slow loss. It took me 3 months to lose my first 10lbs and I think it's going to take 5 months to lose the last 10lbs :) As long as its coming off that's all that matters, but it sure does get frustrating. Feel free to add me for some support!

I was an 38F. I had a breast reduction almost 10 years ago when I was 21 and don't regret that decision in the least! Now I'm a 36D and loving them and sometimes wish I was still smaller. Losing weight didn't help make them smaller back then and still doesn't. I guess I"m naturally blessed :S I did have complications from…

First time or hundredth time, it doesn't matter. We've all been there before regardless of how much one needs to lose. Feel free to add me. I log every day, good and bad and encourage as much as I can get on to MFP. You CAN do this :)

welcome to MFP. Feel free to add me. I know that feeling...dreading to step on the scale and then seeing a number you really don't like seeing. The good news is you are taking the right steps now ;)

I met my guy on POF and we've now been together 2 1/2 years. I met a few other really nice guys on there too, but it takes a bit to sort through the creeps and hook-ups but the good ones are out there. You get to know who the good and bad ones are on there real quick!

Welcome to MFP! Feel free to add me if you want some extra friends :)

Sounds like about a pound a week to me. It's hard when its coming off and it feels slow but it is coming off so you are doing something right. Keep doing what you're doing :)

Slow and steady has been my motto since the beginning. Feel free to add me :)

Sounds like you are off to a great start. Good stuff :)

If you can get yourself a good heart rate monitor it will give you a decent estimate on what your calorie burn is. Get a heart rate monitor with a chest strap for a more accuracy (I use Polar FT4). If a video or game (wii or kinect) gives you an estimation of calories burned and MFP gives you a different estimate, I'd take…

I feel the exact same way when I skip my workouts. Sometimes your body needs the break though, so don't beat yourself up. Today's a new day and you'll probably push yourself harder today on your run and feel fantastic afterwards (at least that's what happens with me).

I take it in pill form. I was plateauing for several weeks and started taking them and it really has helped with water retention/bloating. It has also helped in clearing up my skin. Haven't noticed it helping too much more then that but the scale has been moving again in the last couple weeks since taking them.

I've been in the same boat as you from the get go. All I can say is stick with it and next thing you know you'll be saying to yourself "Wow, I've lost 20lbs" etc. It's so hard to know other people lose it faster and consistently. At times I'd find the trick and lose a little more then the last weigh in, and then my body…

I would love to see my upper arms be 12" or less. This seems to be the body part I dislike the most (other than tummy - but that's getting smaller too:smile: ).
