What a cool idea! Can't wait to get home from work to do it.

I actually finish my work faster by taking frequent movement breaks than when I sit and stare at the computer for long stretches. Another plus is, I feel sooooo much better at the end of the day.

I reread your ideas and have already incorporated most of them in my life. I watch very little TV but when I do, it is while stepping on my mini trampoline. I do my social media with the iPad on the end of the bar as I prance in place. All of your ideas are great and so easily done. BTW....according to my Fitbit, I got at…

The Fitbit dashboard now has the hourly active minutes. I set mine from 6am to 8pm and I am going to get at least 250 steps in each of those hours. Doesn't sound like much but for someone tied to a desk 7.5 hours a day, it takes both awareness and commitment.

It is rainy here so spending my lunch hour on the walk track and elliptical at the gym.
-
I don't know about clean but they are way better than a handful of chips or a candy bar for a post gym snack.

Looks good. I will have to do something else on the push up day because of my shoulder but I will chinoiserie something worthy.

I love quinoa and my husband hates it. When we have stir-fry, mine is on a bed of quinoa and his is on a bed of rice. I do season mine with curry powder and rosemary.

Nothing is forbidden! That is where moderation and cheat days come in handy.

I agree. Lose it slowly so your skin has time to adjust as you go and build muscle. You will probably still have some saggy skin but you will be healthy.

My daughter had these for desert today and they were great. They are every bit as good as ice cream.
-
I agree with this statement 100%. I have gone from 186 to 156 and have had ice cream nearly every night. I have yo-yoed my since I was in my early teens and it took me nearly 40 years to realize that no food is off limits. When something becomes forbidden, that is when I start to obsess and end up on a binge. It is the…

I don't resent the remark but I do find this reply to be funny. I am 55 years old. As for the macros and TDEE, you know the old saying "it ain't rocket science"? Well, it is rocket science.

I have the FitBit One and absolutely love it. So far I has narrowly escaped the washer but otherwise no incident. I don't always make you 10K steps a day but find it to be a great motivator, and I need all the motivation I can get. My daughter has the Flex and loves hers too.

My husband and I both love it. It is one of the few shows that I watch reruns of.

Thank you for clearing that up, :-)

Even my very worst hot flashes never caused me to sweat.
-
Boy do I ever need to do that, but I have no idea where to start.

I "bumped" this yesterday and finally got a chance to read it today. THANK YOU!!!

I enjoyed your story very much and wish you continued success. You are very inspirational.

Used to be about half of a large, supreme pizza. That is, back in the old and ignorant days. Now, it is mixed veggies, seasoned with Mrs Dash on a bed of quinoa that I have seasoned with curry powder, rosemary and caraway seeds. I love it but my husband won't touch it on a bet!

SW: 158.4 FW: 154.4 Lost - 4 lbs

I hadn't heard that but it would explain a lot. I do know that the hot flashes cause a sudden drop in my blood pressure. I told my doctor about this and she said that it was common. The heat causes our blood vessels to dilate quickly which causes the blood pressure to suddenly drop. I can't say menopause is the most fun I…

Gary, when you say 50 split squats or 50 squat kicks, do you mean 50 total or 50 on each leg? Thanks
-
I broke yesterday's full body session into 2 parts with the intention of doing it as one workout, then life happened. So 50 jumping jacks, 25 burpees, etc. It was still an awesome workout. Don't know if I would have survived another 25 burpees anyway.

3.3 miles on the elliptical and a mile walking. I finished the tab atlas too.
-
I did Friday's challenge.
-
Just finished the advanced workout. Whew! I am whipped but as proud of myself as I can be. I went to the gym on my lunch hour and did 2.1 miles alternating the speed between 3.4 & 3.9 mph and the incline between 0% & 8%.

Friday is my official weigh-in day, but last week it was 158.4.
