Today is my birthday. I'm the big 60 and while one year of intense fitness ends another begins. Today was treadmill walking, then elliptical and finally crazy core from the Bow Flex App. I hope all my DWOPs are having a good workout week.

Today's saying is so true. It was Treadmill walking and elliptical today; finishing off the remaining time for this workout week in the lower 2 heart rate categories as per my Polar FT80 HRM Star built in trainer. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Check out www.jefit.com. I'm there under the same username. They have animations that show the 'how to' of the exercises as well as routines for every level. It's free to get an account but you can look at the routines without having one. I work out at home too.

Have a 12 oz glass or larger one handy. Drink 2 glasses as soon as you get up. During your workout have a large glass & drink during it. Between all your meals drink at least one large glass. In the evening drink another glass.

If you already have dumbbells you can use them to do kettle bell routines. Having said that a kettle bell is easier to hold to do the swings. Consider trying some kettle bells routines with your a dumbbell and see how it goes. There are routines online.
