Do you have a therapist or support group/person you can talk to? Until your relationship with food is repaired you may want to stay away from the scale. It seems like it may be a trigger for you. I wish you well on your road to recovery!

Good for you! I have noticed the same thing with my skin and dairy products/junk foods. I'm still (slowly) transitioning to eating paleo but can see changes already. Add that to the list of benefits!

Also the more exercise you do during the day gives you extra calories to use. Some chose not to "eat back" those calories.

They set your cals needed based on height, weight and activity level combined. For example a taller, heavier, or more active person will require more calories than a smaller, lighter or less active person. A change in any of these will result in a change in your calorie requirements.

Go to my home Goals Change your settings

It did. You can change your pounds to lose per week to lose less shich will set it higher or change your cals manually.

Hi there! Go to My Home Go to Check-in Go to Edit Previous Entries (small link below the other info) Delete your and past/ starting weights if they are lower than your current weight. Your starting weight should be the highest. This was the problem I was having. Good luck!

I love everything from there except the tuna cause it has too much mayo in the mix for my tastes. My #1 fave is the sweet onion chicken teriyaki on wheat, american cheese, toasted with all of the veggies. And s&p. In fact this was tonight's dinner! Yes it was inspired from that post earlier today. Yum!

This ^^^ I am also trying to wean myself off of soda. I have been drinking sparkling water instead and its working. One thing I have noticed is that flavored mineral water has much less flavoring to it than flavored sparkling water. So if you are like me and drink for flavor def go with sparkling water. :drinker:

Get there early and ask the instructor fit the bike to you. This is very important. Also bring water and a hand towel for sweat. Try to get a good amount of time out of the saddle (seat) to give the bum a break or your pelvic bones will ache the next day. That's all i can think of. Hth! Have fun!

Paleo newbie here. Been tinkering with paleo since the new year and I think I'm ready for my first whole 30. I will be giving up caffeine. I've had an ongoing battle with this one. Never kicked it for more than a week or two before relapsing.

Your diet sounds similar to the paleo diet. I'd recommended checking it out if these are the foods you are drawn to. You might discover some recipes to kill the boredom of eating the same things all of the time. Also there well be good info on nutrition and if you are missing anything. There are many sites devoted to paleo…

I'm 5 ft 3 (am I too tall? Lol) In high school I was thin at 112 and though I would love to be that weight again, I have set a more realistic goal of 125. My lowest as an adult was 125 and it was a healthy, comfortable weight for me.
