I am currently on my 6th round of P90X and I use a HRM and put my calorie burn under cardio because it IS cardio for me! LOL And your body needs food to fuel your body even on lifting days, especially P90X!! Good Luck and keep pushing play!!!

I have done BBL and I like it! However I have never done the shred so I can't compare it to BBL. What I can say is that it is challenging in it's own way. If you are getting up and going straight to the gym to workout you don't need to eat! They say you will burn the stored fat in your body instead of the food you just ate. If you do decide to eat something before a workout egg whites are the way to go. Just make sure you are drinking your water right away in the morning…

You will not be able to completly avoid loose skin but you can reduce the amount of it by weight training. You don't have to lift heavy weight but you do need some resistance training to avoid major skin issues. If you lose weight to quickly you will also need to give your body time to let your skin come back as well.
