I've always had a low heart rate... nothing to do with my fitness unfortunately :P I'm not worried as long as it doesn't stop...lol!

I've just ordered a Garmin 405cx Katie... I was going to go for a cheaper model till I found a deal on a refurb (untouched, just a replaced box from stoarge)... £122 inc delivery... couldn't go wrong :D It will be arriving in the next few days so will let you know!

The responses in this thread make me happy... I love eggs but my mum is always concerned about me having more than 3 a week due to my family's high cholesterol history. I was last checked a couple of years ago and my Good Cholesterol was low and so was my Bad... Does eating more eggs increase the good stuff? I hate oily…

I believe more in 'cheat meals'. These do not necessarily take me over my calorie limit, but they are usually things that I wouldn't eat due to high fat, high sugar... generally high yummyness content :P I always try to stay under my calorie goals, but really don't feel bad if it was a treat meal that pushed me over…

Power walk around while doing your shopping.. you'll burn much more calories and get it all done quicker :)

I read this also, and to look at the food you are eating... that alone sends signals to your brain that you are getting what you need. If you are stuffing your face while watching TV, this is missed out! They say you should chew each piece of food 20 times.... ever tried counting? :)

This sucks, feel much better soon!! If you can achieve your goals when feeling like this... imagine what you can do when you are back to normal! But if you are really worn out its your body telling you to take it easy, usually for a reason so listen to it and get plenty of rest and stay hydrated to flush out any nasty's :)
