I have used them in the past before and had good results. Yes I did have gross side affects but as long as you watch your fat intake then it wont be a problem. If you eat fat, greasy food all day then yes it will get nasty. It didn't make me lose a ton of weight but what it did do was make me lose enough weight to lower my…

so I haven't been on MFP for a long time or else I would have started from day one. I am going to try and hit the 50 mark but seeing how we are already halfway through the month am going to aim for 30-40.

probably Chef boyarde products but most of the weird stuff I actually still eat like cornbread and ketchup, big sour pickle with a now and later inserted into the middle of it. ummm I ate rice with butter and sugar but I wouldn't eat it now, not because its gross but because that is very unhealthy.

I forgot to add that I am 5'1. The things I have been doing lately is really a mixture of Wii Zumba, Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVD's, walking with strength bands as well to help firm my arms. this past week I have started to go running in the evening around my block. I can't stick to one thing, I get bored really easy…

Hi Im Candace, and I was 150 last week but now I am down to 146-147 now. It has always been hard for me to get started when trying to lose weight, I used to hate working out but it is just one of those things that I know I gotta do if I want to lose weight. Then when I started to lose weight it was exciting to see the…

Well I am prior active navy and am currently in the Navy reserves and I have to lose weight for the PRT next month. When I was active I actually worked at a galley for 2 years before getting out and what I suggest to you is dont eat from the speed line, always go to the main line and try and get a salad with lunch and…

I love her videos and think they do work if you walk consistantly but for me i never did her videos alone. Meaning my goal was to walk 2 or 3 miles a day but I walked in addition to other workouts I was doing at the time, 30 day shred, wii zumba. Even if I was not able to do my main workout for the day I still tried to do…

Hi everyone. I started induction a couple weeks back and I will admit I cheated, not everyday but some and so my weight loss was slow but I was happy I was losing weight at all, so I lost about 5 pounds during that first week and then stopped doing Atkins, not completly but there were some dinners when I just said "forget…

So today is my first day of induction and i mede the southwestern omelett and OMG it was so good, but I will admit that I am having a hard time processing the fact that I have to focus on more on net carbs than I do calories. The omelet was good but I havent had a real egg in months because egg beaters is lower in calories…

Jsut know that it gets easier by day 4, the soreness starts to go away and you find your endurance level has gone up a bit. At least that is the way it was for me. ihate soem of the strength moves but I found that I could do them better by day 4 than on day 1

H, I hope it is not too late to join, id really like to be apart of this with a all ya'll. i was apart of the August challenge but between a 2 week training with the Navy and my mother being here the enire month of August I lost track before I even began.
-
I am doing horrible. I am in the middle of doing my 2 weeks of annual training for the navy reserves and being stuck on base all day is hindering my plans for the month. I only have one more week left so hopefully after the 19th I will be able to get back on track.
-
I did 3 miles today 3 down 27 to go
-
LOL, you crack me up.
-
Hey new buddy. I will do this challenge. I LOVE Leslie Sansone DVD's. I am setting my goal at 30 miles this month. I haven't walked to her DVD in over 2 months so I think 30 is a reasonable goal.
-
Yay, I am really happy to be a part of this group, it seems like a great group of supportive people and that is exactly what I need to help me stay on track. I just joined so I didn't know about the 500 calorie burn thingy but I will try my hardest.
