Why don't you just wear it for an hour during your sedentary time and then multiply that number by 24? I do recommend the FitBit though. I LOVE MINE!

I don't know about others, but it's when I really start getting into my cardio that my congestion clears right up! I think it's something to do with the increased blood flow.

I got fat because I had an insatiable appetite for Swiss Cake Rolls. Like, I would down an entire box at least once a week (in one sitting.) I also was too lazy to work out and was in complete denial that eating healthy would not only make me lose weight but feel better, too. (I had GERD and anemia until recently...)

Yes, protein will increase muscle. More muscle = increased metabolism = more maintenance calories to get to eat, so yes, you can still lose weight while gaining muscle. Just keep staying under your calories. Again, is the number on the scale your end goal? Or is it a certain look you're trying to achieve?

You'll get better. There are free apps on the market to track your Fit Tests so you can see your results on a graph and keep you motivated. Just keep going. I sucked at first, too. Wanna be friends? I ONLY do workout DVDs.

Why, thank you! :) Yep, 10 months difference. The key is clean eating within a caloric deficit, plenty of protein, and daily strength/cardio. Strength training, strength training, strength training! I can't stress this enough. Working out at home is easy. You get to wear just a sports bra and not care who sees you! ;-)

I work out at home. I've done Jillian's 30DS, Ripped in 30, Hip Hop Abs, Insanity, T25, and am starting P90X3 as soon as it releases in December. All of these workouts have calendars to follow, so there's no "arms day" "legs day" etc... It's simply interval training.
