  • Highlights from this week... Fresh roasted beets from the farmers market with red quinoa- delish. zuchinni sliced in half with fresh basil and sliced roma tomoatoes baked in the oven. breakfast green smoothies- spinach, banana, coconut milk or other combos. I'm staying away from processed as much as possible so lots of…
  • I only know the Leeroy jenkins reference b/c my husband was addicted to WOW. Until he realized he valued his wife and child at least that's why I think he quit. He says he got bored with it! :)
  • CANDY!!!!! If you are wanting to not have temptation in your house buy a 'good' candy that you don't like. One of my neighbors gives out full size candy bars!!!!! She is the best house to go to on Halloween b/c you know you aren't getting Mary Janes- yuck! I enjoy seeing all the costumes and giving out the candy. I hate it…
  • Pull her teeth out for a diet, thats a new one! There is a Wiggles (kids group) song that is all about "chew your food, chew, chew, chew, your food". Now get that stuck in your head today.....
  • do what you want... But I'd rip the label out- it's not a mattress so it's not against the law! :)
  • I tried it too and I loved it for a while, but I had to mix pudding in with it to feel full or I was putting in a lot of fruit which was just way to much sugar for me. I seem to need to consume less carbs/sugar than others I know to get the same results. So I do better by eating lots of protein and really I didn't feel…
  • I agree with showing more recipes...or at least the food s in it. I went to add a new recipe and it made mention of adding it to the database and had me enter in the recipe, the ingredients and how to make it...but that was only online when I created a recipe for my green smoothie this morning on my phone it didn't go into…
  • I'd be mindful using any thing with fake sugars in it...when I was pregnant the doctors said to stay away from it...some moms don't mind and still eat it afterwards. You know the mom, so you'd know how she feels on the subject. I made these little cheesecake cupcakes and just halved the sugar in it. Look up low carb…
  • going over the treadmill shouldn't be funny but it reminds me of a time in college I was at the gym on the treadmill and this guy came over and got on and was trying to impress me. He was chatting me up and bumping up his speed until he was going fast. I was like wow you're going really fast...so he bumped it up some more…
  • I like optimum nutrition. Chocolate, rocky road, and caramel toffee fudge are good. I did not like cookies and cream. I hear they have a chocolate coconut, I'm eager to find. The stats are 130 cals, 4 carbs, 1.4 g fat, and 24 g protein. I mix it with Almond plus protein (unsweetened) milk (so delicious brand) adding 40…
  • Now, throw all the others away!!! SO there is no going back. :)
  • I read somewhere about 40% protein; 40% fat; and 20% Carb (not specifically for PCOS- just general) At 1500 calories thats 150 g protein 67 grams fat 75 grams carbs This is really restrictive carbs but still not as low as phase 1 and 2 of atkins. I would say look at what you normally eat which you are saying is too much…
  • I'm 5'4 and 3/4". But I round up to 5'5"! :) I would like to lose at least 20 lbs, but 30 would be more like it. The lowest I've ever been was 137 lbs 10 years ago when I met my husband. I was younger then and it was easier for me to lose weight. I am committed to this journey and by logging into MFP and doing Jillian…
  • NSV- non scale victory I had to google it last week! :) Way to go OP!!! 3000 is awesome.
  • Get a new scale... I had one that consistently gave me confusing results- like how did I lose 4 lbs in 30seconds standing here. If it were that easy I would stand beside that thing all day!

  • Awesome Lisa!!! And at 90 days you lost the shorts! :) You go lady! Good luck with round 2, hope you get similar results. Inspiring me to keep trugging along.
  • I remember Pelvic Thrusts from Jane Fonda... they are not hard for me doing the two legs down. Perhaps adjusting your feet to be a little closer to your but could help do them the two feet way or the cross over. I can do some one leg up and then have to drop to the cross over. Also try spacing your legs a little farther…
  • The first one I liked...editing and repeating phases bothered me. 2nd book really got on my nerves and I almost didn't read the 3rd. The 3rd was my favorite of the 3. There was actually a story with supporting characters. If you want to read a little steamy book and are not easily bothered by reading similar scenes over…
  • Awesome...I'm sure you look like you've lost those inches too. Nice and toned beats lower scale #'s in my opinion. Hope I see similar results when I complete phase one! Way to go, keep it up!!!!
  • It's really about you. I'm married and my husband LOVES my thicker body. Me..not so much. And guess what he also LOVES my thinner body. When he met me I was ~45lbs lighter than I am now. The fact is he loves me. I am still taking matters into my own hands to get to a weight that I am comfortable with. You should set small…
