Depends on your goals, obviously, but I enjoy casseroles! Specifically, there are a few lower-carb recipes that are simply to die for that I found rummaging through Pinterest - there's a chicken cordon blue I quite enjoy, and a jalapeno popper chicken that is ah-may-zinggg. You could always mix up the stuff ahead and just…

I like to make my own thin-crust pizza - mine comes in at something like 230 cals a large slice... It comes down to working your base and your cheese down and your cals will drop with! The pizza that my husband and I prefer specifically is a bbq-sauce, bacon, pineapple, and onion (which may sound kind of gross, but it's…

I have a Garmin so I can't attest to the accuracy of the Fitbit, but I know mine took a good two weeks for it to really seem accurate... it is going to need to take a bit of time to get used to you. Don't get too wrapped up in what it's saying until after that time. :)

I like to eat two servings as a snack in the evening, but it's certainly not often (I have to be in a special mood for it). I only eat it usually when I have plenty of calories left over, and then it's just a scrumptious dessert! I can't eat cold cereal for breakfast - nowhere near filling enough for a day-starter. It just…

Second for fitnessblender.com - you can search by just about anything your heart desires (strength, cardio, level of intensity, target area, if and what equipment you have available, etc), and I LOVELOVELOVE Kelli and Daniel! No brute-yelling, no scary-happy peppy chicks in 80's leg warmers... They are absolutely…

Another vote here for meal prepping! I always get all my food ready the day before I go back to work, and some things are always the same while other things always change. For me, the constants are portioning out little containers of protein powder for my breakfast (I currently use Orgain vanilla protein powder from Sam's…

*dances around gleefully* MORE MELON FOR THE REST OF USSSSSSSSS ;-)

I have the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ and I love it! What I've noticed with it though it that the first couple thousand steps of the day seem worth more calories than later steps - it balances itself out by the end of the day. I'm guessing that you plugged in all your stats on the app? I would keep trying it for another few days…

Well, what worked for you last spring? Did you enjoy the activities you were doing? Did you get bored of them? Did your life suddenly get busier, leaving you less time for meal prep or exercise? Did you eat the same foods for 3-4 months and get burnt out eating them? 32lbs is something to be really proud of! Take a look at…

Check out Fitnessblender - they have tons of workouts (almost all of them free) for every level of fitness ranging from 5 minutes to I think an hour. Anything you can think of that you would like to work on, they have a video for! Kelli and Daniel also don't yell at you which I personally find nice. :) Cheers and good luck!

Darlin, I eat more than that and lose weight without exercise as a 5'4" female (and I'm only 132 lbs). For sure, you are setting yourself up to crash. Eat a bit more - what doesn't matter; "clean" and "dirty" are just words to make people think foods are good or bad, which they are not. I would suggest aiming to hit your…

Gee thanks - got me all teary-eyed at work!

I wish my mom had done fun workouts for me to be involved in when I was 10 - I definitely wouldn't be trying to learn how to work out now if that had been the case!! :)

Anywhere you've never heard of if usually a good choice!! If it's tiny and in the middle of nowhere, the food will usually be amazing! Or at least that's generally my experience up here in New England. ;)

I.Love.FitnessBlender. For real! They are my favorite! :) :) :)

It's unfair that my husband discovered where I was stashing my sweets! There's a REASON I'm hiding them! Jeez!

SWEET FROG!!! I can't control myself in there!

I did that when I used to go to the gym!! Now I pick a show to watch on Netflix that I can ONLY watch if I'm on the elliptical at home - great motivator to see what happens next AND get in a good workout!!

Wow! Great work! You look amazing! I love your perfect hourglass figure! :)

Just a thought, but any chance you could change your official weigh-in day? It sounds like you know you're going to have a few days buffer after a weekend, so you can work off what you've done, making you feel a little more comfortable doing it. What about trading your weigh-in day to Monday or Tuesday? It'll up your…

I signed up for a 5K this weekend... because you get beer at the end. And there's chili dogs. And no one cares how fast you go. TRIPLE WIN FOR ASHDAWG!!! Other than that, the only time I run is when I'm being dragged by my fur-beasties. They LOVE running. *grumbles* I like basketball... and dancing... and the elliptical...…

Holy cow! You are so fantastic, and so reality-oriented! It's so wonderful to see on here! Keep going girl, you are AWESOME!!! :) :) :)

You could always keep some cut-up veggies in your fridge for just such an occasion. :) I get home after work and want to snack in the worst way - If I have apples or veggies prepped, I'll grab those... Sometimes a can of tuna if I'm low on protein, or a Greek yogurt. But if I don't have those, I start rooting through the…

You don't need to lose weight - I'd suggest some strength training to "tone up" though. :)

Fourthing suggestions to stretch and/or walk. :)

Pretty much!!! I weigh in at around 132, and I'm only 5'4.5" - and I'm prefectly within the healthy range. Pretty much that guy is saying anorexia is the only way to be... or extraordinarily short!!! EFFFF THAT!!! OP, congratulations on quitting smoking, and I'm glad to see you didn't listen to that guy at all!! :) My…

Like others have said, take it slow. I like to pre-log as much as I can. As for myself, I don't generally love exercising, so I try to find things that keep me active that don't feel like "working out" - basketball, dancing, and boxing for example. I also garden and I've been doing a lot of work on my house. I use…
