    I don't think it's sappy. Giving someone something that they've seen others experience for granted for years and years is so emotional. Part of what makes us human. I'd be concerned if someoone in my friends/relatives circle wasn't touched by it.

    Another reason why science rules. Today I got a chance to hear that girl sing because of the invention of the internet and computers, whereas chances are 30 years ago, I may have never heard it had it been out.
