  • Wow well done you can really see it in your face especially, you look so much younger and happier!
  • There are many people on here claiming to be experts in this field and some even having the check to completely misquote scientific journals which I believe should never be used in contexts like this when people who don't necessarily understand the field can just manipulate it to prove the point they want. Ok I am a…
  • Awesome, well done
  • I can totally see a big change in those pictures, but I can understand it is a lot harder to see progress when you are looking at yourself, I've had a similar experience where my friends said they can see a difference but I can't see anything. Your waist and face especially look like they have shread weight but I think you…
  • From experience ( I look after my 92 yro grandmother who smoked all her life) it may not affect you yet, clearly as you can run for so long (well done you :D) but it will most definitely hit you in old age. My grandmother, is healthy in every way apart form her lungs, she is very petite and her bones are strong but she can…

  • ^ this is not true, your doctor is infact not misinformed, they know a lot about the human body. Creatine is taken as it is supposed (thought not directly proven) to increase the level of Creatine phosphate in the body. Creatine phosphate is the bodies first way of easily generating ATP from ADP when heavily exercising,…

  • When you first start you will be really hungry for a while what ever you are doing, your body has got into a routine and it will take time to break it, it won't last though, once you push through it you will find you get less hungry and generally think about food less, at least i have. Personally I think a lot of it was in…
  • So far I haven't had to have a cheat day, everyday I allocate 200 of my calories to something that I really want that's usually really bad food, stops me from bingeing. (got the idea from Cosmo mag) but my dream day would be Breakfast: full English Lunch: pizza express pollo pesto pizza Supper: roast duck with lots and…
  • hey its just a suggestion, but if you stomach sticks out considerably for your size it may be that you have severe bloating. This can be caused by gluten intolerance (and maybe lactose as well but not sure) may be worth getting checked and see if you do have an intolerance to something, I had a friend who has a gluten…
  • Wow! I really love it when someone shares their whole story like you have, it is so much more inspirational than just before and after weights and some photos, thank you so much for sharing. Reading this has really made me want to hit the gym and approach those weights I've been hiding from!
  • In all honestly I think that you look the prettiest and most comfortable in your weight in the first picture. I am the same height as you and according to the chart I am going by under 164lb you are healthy but under 125lb is considered to be underweight, so your first picture you are smack bang in the middle of healthy :)…
  • thank you for the kind words, means alot

  • Biologist here, and imho no way is that true. FIrst of all even if the biology behind it was correct, evolution would take way way longer to work, you must understand that we don’t physically change through evolution, the gene pool does, therefore through different generations there are changes, not just through one…
  • WTG! What a great NSV, everyone goes on about healthy this and healthy that, which is very important, but what the most important thing in the world is enjoying life, and its great that your weight is no longer keeping you back from that, amazing, keep it up :D

  • To finally feel comfortable in jeans again. Way back when, when I was a healthy weight they were all I ever wore, but for 2 years now I have only worn skirts and dresses to try and hide my thighs as all my weight seems to want to go there :(
