I really identify with this because I know what I need to do to lose weight/eat healthy but I never get to the point where it is automatic and I slip.

I'm looking for a challenge. CW 196.2 By 2020 under 188 I should be around 140 (last time I was there is around six years ago) . In the past 1-2 years, I get to 189,and then life happens and I fall apart.

I'm in. I've been debating WW for motivation but I have done this before successfully. I joined a year challenge too. My personal challenges are three kids, one child high needs with challenging behaviour, working full time, and I'm a major stress eater. For December, my only goal was regular exercise and I did exercise…

I'm in. I've been debating WW but I have done this before successfully. I got to the same weight with all my pregnancies and lost it all with 2. My third kid is almost 4. The lowest I've been in the past 4 years was 6 weeks post partum at 172. I've gotten to 180 twice. The last year, I never get lower than 189. My…

I've been losing and gaining the same weight since my son was born almost 4 years ago. I'm close to my max weight (195). I'm 5'3. Sep 1 191.8 Sep 8 Sep 15 Sep 22 Sep 29 My goals for September are to eat consistently better, to exercise 30 minutes 5x a week, and no snacks after supper.

Argh. I stopped logging for the summer and flamed out. SW 194 lbs CW 191.8 lbs My goal for September is more consistent healthy eating and to exercise for 30 minutes 5 days a week. My yoga class also starts up again so that will be good for me.

I'm a late joiner but I'd like to join for some long term accountability. I used to track religiously but haven't since I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I never got back to my pre pregnancy weight this time but I currently weigh a few pounds more than when I delivered over 3 years ago. I dropped 20lbs initially but gained…

I'm similar stats with a similar goal. My kids are 2, 6, and 9. I lost my baby weight with the first 2 but have struggled with number 3. Between work and the kids, I struggle with the energy to be motivated.

I'd like to join.

Day 2 of exercise. Eating yesterday was ok. Not as clean as I'd wanted but enough I can still lose weight at that intake. I need to figure out what to do when I come home and am making supper. Well I know I should snack on veggies like I give my kids or just wait.

6/1 188 lbs 6/5 187 lbs I did get up this morning and exercise. I always like it once I start. This evening will be active too as I'm cleaning our new house. Food so far is on plan and hope to continue for the rest of the day.

June is a pretty busy month for me with moving at the end. I was originally aiming for just eating decent for the month. However, I've been thinking of my motivation issues and realized I'm always more motivated to eat better when I exercise. My goals for tomorrow are 1. 20 minutes exercise in the morning 2. Only water,…

I'm Canadian. I used MFP to lose weight after my second daughter but with my 3rd, I've struggled with motivation and willpower. I'm only a few pounds less than when I delivered and he is now 2.5 years old. Don't know if this counts as baby weight any more! Starting weight 188 lbs Goal is 140 lbs which is where i was before…

Same stats as me! I also have an emotional drive to eat. It is something hard to overcome.

So far so good today. I've decided to try a meal planning site for some freezer meals. My normal quick meal with the kids is something pasta related so I'm looking for other ideas. I start work in a week so I hope that doesn't derail me. We aren't allowed food or drink except in the lunch room so that should help with…

My experience with losing weight but maintaining muscle is to eat the maximum you can with still losing weight. It is a slower process. I've just hit 40 and am finding weight loss and general healthy behavior way different than when I was 30.

I'm going to try joining to get motivated :) I've been on MFP for several years but not very active the last few years. I'm starting at 182.2 lbs and I've been pretty consistent between 180-183 lbs for the last 6 months. Before I had my third child, I was 140 lbs and exercised several mornings a week. With my first two…

I can't believe it has been so long. I wish life would calm down! I've had a rough time since I was on here. My grandma who I was very close to passed away. She was 95y so not unexpected. On a more shocking note, my dad passed away very unexpectedly at 65y. We were going to be visiting him the following week as we live on…

SW 184.4 CW 183.4 We've been painting in our free time and have finally gotten our baseboards and window frames painted. The kids got a garden in and we have baby peppers growing. I'm excited to have them be big peppers! In the last 2 weeks it has changed from cool spring weather to hot summer weather. I'm not actually a…

When I quit this last year, I was frustrated because I was eating to lose and losing nothing. I felt like what was the point. Well, I can say now that the point would have been to maintain rather than gain! I find no matter how long I go with good eating habits it always has to be conscious. When I move to autopilot, I…

I'm going to try to rejoin this group... I was doing ok last year after the birth of baby #3 and then struggled with eating and motivation and dropped out because I wasn't making progress. I gained 20 lbs and got just over my pregnancy weight high. I feel like I'm getting my motivation back now. I'm down 10 lbs from my…
