I have a polar as well. I don't know if they all do it but I like that it syncs with the machine at the gym so you can see your heart rate on the screen

I gained the first week but I am lower this week. Still not at what I weighed at before starting the challenge. But nothing like bathing suit shopping (which I did today) to kick your butt in gear!

For some things I feel MPG over estimates but most for me I feel it under estimates. I wear a heart rate monitor when I work out and that's always higher than MPG. I like to err on the side of caution and take what's lower

Yes! I did but I lost the most when I was training for a 5k. It just pushed me to work harder. I also get super bored on the treadmill though so I change up the incline a lot of I "race" myself. Try to knock a few seconds of my mile time or how far I go in a set time
