  • I was horrible last week but I’m committed to this week Monday - Wednesday EVEN if I have the calories for it.
  • Finding this thread late in the month but I’m so glad I did. I need something to help me set daily or weekly goals and get back focus and accountability. I run two organizations and have two teen/preteen boys who play LOTS of sports so busy is an understatement. This week. Continue with zero gluten/ paleo type diet.…
  • I love the idea of taking a binder with workouts. I have been consistently lifting a few days a week for the last few months but have thought about a solid order/plan for each lifting day would be helpful. Did you make your own?
  • So happy to have found this thread. I have struggled with weight gain over the last 4- 6 years that I just assumed was because of the 40’s. I’m 42. Last year diagnosed with Hoshimotos and have just continued to struggle. This last November I finally got agressive with my dietary changes the doctor asked me to do (No…
  • That's a great idea!
  • Everyone that I know that had successful weight loss on it gained it back when they stopped eating no carb. Even those who then went to staying within their reasonable caloric goal. It was like their body no longer knew how to process carbs.
  • I keep a container of cooled coffee in my fridge for my shakes. 1 scoop choc protein powder, a splash of sugar free vanilla, a splash of sugar free caramel syrup (or hazelnut or whatever I bought last) I can mix it just over ice and it's great. That's my morning iced mocha (and usually breakfast).
  • Uh yeah. I stayed the same basically last week and this and have been kicking my workouts into high gear. (Which I know, I know is most likely why my body is not responding right now, holding everything to figure out what's going on) but so agree. It sure doesn't encourage me to give up the wine at night I really want to…
  • I have Wii and I like it. For me it's like any other home fitness thing I do it for a while and then forget about it. When I have a class scheduled I feel more accountable to go and when I'm in the presence of others I'm not going to not allow myself to slack off.
  • I actually went and bought a few mini bottles and have a mini champagne in the fridge but have yet to drink it. I have it in my food diary but I am really trying to go without since I drank last night (uh well and the night before).
  • Ummm. I might be excommunicated because I wasn't really hungry tonight because I had my lunch late and decided I would use my dinner calories for wine. BUT I will totally start next week! Hahaha. I do love this though. I get so much more done in the evenings that I don't have wine than when I do. (Although that means I…
  • I was just thinking last night I needed to get these so I would have built in portion control but it drives me crazy how much more they cost. If only I didn't have the desire to drink the whole dang bottle............
  • Oh I love any wine. I have been a multiple glass a day girl for years. It has absolutely been the hardest thing to give up and I'm sure the only thing that has caused my weight gain over the years. (Since I have always eaten healthy and exercised.) I'd love to add a few friends that share that struggle.
  • Try Dark Chocolate Almond Milk instead of regular milk if allergic. Super Yummy.
  • Totally low carb tortillas are great. I also do (and can even do at the office. Or at home the night before) Yukon Gold Potato cooked in the microwave with the lowfat turkey chili. Sometimes steamed broccoli and a little bit of shredded cheese on top and the fat free sour cream. So filling and so satisfying. Egg salad (1…
  • I did 160. Cause that's how I roll......
  • Starting weight (July 16): 136.9 1st week weight (July 23):133.1 2nd week weight (July 30): 3rd week weight (August 6): 4th week weight (August 13): 5th week weight (August 20): 6th week weight (August 27): Total Weight lost: 3.8 Starting Weight was 1st day back from almost a month vacation so I am sure a lot of water…
  • Wine. I used to have my favorite in the house at all times. But once I start drinking it I can't stop and have found that even if I am counting those calories in my daily allotment my weight stands absolutely still, regardless of what else I do.
  • I'm 5' basically and know that there is no way I could get down to what my recommended weight is. The smallest I have been as an adult was 117 and that was to small for me. I didn't feel healthy. I have a very athletic muscular build so my comfortable weight is between 120 and 124. You know your body.
  • That's a great point. I've always weighed on Friday officially (although I weigh other days too) but do find that then I feel I have a free ride all weekend, and am right back up Monday morning. I think I may change to Sunday or Monday to keep me more on track.
