Eggs Milk Canned beans- great to put in salads or even with some scrambled eggs Greek yogurt I don't buy that many fruits or vegetables since I get them from a co-op. As far as chicken and other meats go, I buy them in bulk and put them in the freezer, That way I always have some on hand.

I recently bought ground turkey to cut back on my beef intake. I've substituted the turkey for beef in my normal recipes and it has turned out great. I've put it in chili (just find your favorite recipe) and also a spaghetti sauce. If my boyfriend can eat these things and not miss the beef, then it's a success for me!
