100% take the test. I went to the Dollar General and got the test that are only $1 (my hubby and I tried to almost 5 years, so I would just buy the cheapest). They are just as accurate. No matter how faint the line is, your pregnant. From the way everything sounds, it does sound like you are pregnant. You don't want to…

Wow, it makes me so happy to see so many women who are on here and pregnant. I'm 10 weeks and I've already gained 5 lbs. I started this site in February 2012 and lost 60 lbs in 8 months, stopped using MFP and had a rough few months, and I gained 20 lbs back. I'm not trying to lose weight at all, I'm trying to just gain the…

AMAZING...truly an inspiration!!! Great job, you should be EXTREMELY proud of yourself!!

I really tend to track calories, fat and sodium. I eat a lot of fruit and I always tend to be over on sugar, and carbs, with my diet now, I tend to not eat as many as I did before anyways.

I was honestly the SAME way when I first started. I couldn't do the Elliptical for more than 1 min. Instead I started to do speed walking on a treadmill on a incline for about 45 mins. Then after around a month of doing that I started to do spinning, which is super hard too. I couldn't even do the standing while cycling…

1, How long did you plan? - Two weeks maybe, sorry family. We really didn't want a huge wedding, but my parents wanted some kind of reception for us. 2. How much did you spend? (sorry if that's personal) Was this more/less than you planned? -Maybe $1,500. Way more than we planned because we just wanted to go to City Hall…

When I was little, like 6 or 7, I found $100 at the ice skating rink, turned it in to the safety guy looking over everything to have him try and find the owner, when I walked away I turned around and seen the guy laugh with his friend and pocket the money. I've found $20 a few times in parking lots at the mall or…

I have PCOS, it's been extremely tough to lose weight. Everytime I get so far, I hit a plateau for a few weeks and I have to be SUPER patient about this. I have been at it for 9 months with 59 lbs lost.
-
I agree with everyone else. Eat more calories. When I hit a plateau for a few weeks, I upped my calories from 1250 to 1600 and all of a sudden the weight started to come off again. Right now, I eat around 1600-1700 calories every day. On a different note too, watch your sodium intake, a lot of things that are healthy in…

Perfectly said. I would plateau for several weeks, and then after being fustrated I started to look back and review my diary to see what I was doing differently during the time periods where I would have awesome losses and compare my diary to when I would plateau...9 times out of 10, when I was pleatauing I would also be…

Welcome!! The support system that you find here is AMAZING!!! Don't be afraid to post your questions or message your friends for advice. Feel free to add me! :)

I do that too. Not all days, but especially when I feel like I'm falling off the wagon a little, I'll plan my days out in advance so that I have a good idea of what I'm eating the entire day.

When I started running, I was at around 17 mins, but that was with intervals of running. I am still having a heard time running a mile, but with intervals I average 13:30 secs right now.

This! But I'll add one more thing, based on your diary, you don't track your sodium. MANY things that might be low in calories/fat and a crazy amount of sodium in them, which then causes you to retain water. Go to your food diary settings and adjust it to track your sodium in addition to everything you have on there. I was…

It really does get easier. The more you log, if you click the most used or recent tab, you can usually find what you normally eat under there. I'm the type of person that I eat pretty much the same all throughout the week. So only when I have out of the ordinary things, it takes a little time to look them up. Also, if you…

I prefer the gym setting, so public. I have a lot of weight to lose and I like surrounding myself with that environment. I kind of like the fact that I am a heavy girl but I am also very athletic, so when I take classes at the gym, there are always the new people or the really fit people who look at me like, wtf is she…

Wow, please don't post a question on MFP and expect EVERYONE to sugar coat things and tell you you're right. You made a general statement that I think a majority of people on the website completely disagree with. I follow MFP everyday since February of this year, and even though I've had my ups and downs, I have still…

Honestly, this has to be one of the most rude comments I have ever seen. So unnecessary. She made her point and all you could think of is to attack her personally. Do yourself a favor and don't post another comment unless it is informative or constructive.

Myself, right now I weight 234 lbs and I'm a little taller than 5'7'', I'm a size 18. Before when I tried to lose weight, I got down to 200 lbs and I dropped to a size 13/14. My doctor has told me that a weight of 175 would be perfect for my bone structure and because I do have a lot more muscle than the average girl (I've…

I love my Samsung flat screen!! It is a 46'', 1080P. It literally looks like you are watching a real life play, it looks so real. It's actually the 2nd one that I have bought. Also, I bought ALL my tv's through Target and I ALWAYS get the extended warranty. My first TV crashed after a year or so, Target sent me a gift card…
