5'5ish 125 lbs 0-2 jeans XS shirts I'm naturally ruler-shaped--no curves for me--so it's hard to find jeans that don't gap at the waist or are loose in the rear. Started >250 lbs, size 20-24 bottoms, 2XL tops.

That's a really low net calorie intake. It may work, but you may end up facing some pretty bad side effects from nutrient deprivation after a while. (I'm speaking from experience here... I've had a protein deficiency and it totally sucked.) My best advice is don't just do what you *can* do right now -- do what you *want*…

Late but adding an opinion in case it's helpful... That would never keep me full in the morning. Try something with a lot more protein - a can of tuna and 2 eggs, for example. I often get hungry in 2 hours unless I have 40+ g protein OR if I don't work out in the morning. Even some moderate walking for half an hour as soon…

I use the generic Whole Foods brand - 365 - 110 cal/16g protein. It dissolves well and the taste is decent. It's not bad for a supplement but I usually just eat 6 oz plain Greek yogurt (100 cal/18-20g protein).

I eat 3-6 bananas per day. I've lost over half my body weight and have visible ab definition. They sure haven't hurt me!

I have a terrible family history for cardiac stuff so this is a topic that's close to my heart. (ha! literally!) I cut my cholesterol and triglycerides way down by eating a HUGE salad (10-12 oz greens) for dinner with a low-fat dressing and walnuts. Boosting my leafy greens intake was critical in getting my cholesterol…

Anecdata, but when I had a protein deficiency, I lost a ton of hair, my heart got weaker, my nails were brittle, and I was tired all the time. It was a hot mess. I use a protein shake as a supplement (mine has 30g protein & 160 cal) to make sure that I don't fall into a deficiency again. I love fruit too but the side…

Mine seems to be ~125. This is much smaller than I was when I began (270) so it felt "too small" for a while... but it's been really easy to maintain. 120? Not so much. I'm pleased with how my clothes fit and how I feel, so that seems more important.

^What they said. My maintenance weight fluctuates around a 2-pound range. Any more than 2 lbs up and I know something is wrong--but I am very small (125 lbs). You'll get a sense of what's normal for you after a while. The fluctuation feels strange at first--I never experienced that during my weight loss--but it feels much…

Weigh everything on a food scale. I was shocked to see that what I thought was a portion/serving was actually 3x the proper amount! It's not something to do forever, but it was so helpful for me to retrain my brain to see things differently. Make changes that you can keep up forever. I know I can't eat 1200 calories a day…

I just cut the creamer serving in half and make it fit with my day. I can't drink coffee black!

Yup. I went from 260 to 144.8 (my weight today) in about 13.5 months. I do have saggy skin on my lower belly and thighs. It sucks, but being over 250 pounds sucked a heck of a lot more.

In a time crunch, I go for Atkins bars (150 cal, 10 g protein) or a nonfat Chobani (100 cals, 18 g protein.) I sometimes mix 2 tbsp sugar free high fiber jam in, too, which adds 20 calories and 6g fiber.

French fries, donuts, everything Little Debbie, milkshakes. Just aren't worth the calories to me.
-
You look amazing! Can I ask how much you weigh in your "after" picture? That's exactly how I want to look! What a fantastic transformation!
-
He was there when the nurse announced I weighed 241 pounds (I was prego.) so now he knows I weigh just over 150. :) it's just a number.
-
I've lost just over 100 pounds. I can blow dry my hair now - my arms don't get tired! I can sit in chairs and not worry that I will break them or my fat will spill over.
-
Wow!! You look amazing!

I ate a container of Fage Total 0% (18 g protein) and stirred in half a cup of Kashi Honey Almond Flax. I also had a banana. 305 calories total and SO yummy & filling!

I have it and have lost 109 lbs (260 to 151) in a year. It is tough but sooo worth it. I take 2000 mg of Metformin per day. Feel free to add me if you would like.
-
Getting to 154.6, which meant I had gone from morbidly obese (260) to a normal BMI in just a few days shy of one year!
-
WOW!!!
-
I'm the same way. I don't know why it happens, but when I drink more than a glass of wine, I want to eat everything in sight! So... I had to cut way back on my drinking.
-
I don't have any pics, but I went from obese to a normal weight in one year (260 lbs to 153.) You can do it!!
-
Oooooh yes. On the bad days ... out come the chips! I HATE stress eating. I'll send you a friend request!

I gained 19 pounds (to get to 260) from a pre-pregnancy weight of 241. I had lost ten by the time my little guy was about two weeks old (I had a lot of IV fluid during delivery, too.) My son just turned 1 year old, and I'm down to 153! Breastfeeding worked REALLY well for my weight loss. Be careful in the first few months…

I eat Whole Foods protein & fiber crunch every day! Love it!! I alternate between berry flax and honey & almond flavors.
-
I would go for the protein shake!
-
Congrats!! That is awesome!

I'm here daily and I have an open diary. Feel free to add me!
