Remember to try not to push. He will push right back. He has to want to do this for himself or it'll all backfire. go to the BMI and enter his height and weight and see the range for him. good luck!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!! All my belts were small on me, now I have had to make 2 new holes. Awesome how good something so small can make u feel huh?

WTG!!! I am 150lbs and do a 17-18 min mile. Looks like I need to start working harder. LOL

I'm sure you probably feel squishy and uncomfortable but remember it isnt as bad as you may think. I would consult professionals if you have had/have eating disorders. Good luck! I am only 5'1" and after losing 44.4lbs, I am 150.6 pounds. Yes, I still need to lose about 25lbs, but I feel damn good.

I think that you'll be ok, it's a natural process :) Now if your were sick for days, then I'd say try and get some more calories into you.
-
Congrats! I am trying to get there too. I'll still have an additional 20lbs to lose after that though.

WTG!! It is so hard to muster up the energy and the confidence. I ran for the 1st time in 9 years on the treadmill last week. Only made it about 1 minute, but did it 3 times at 5 mph. Today I ran for about 2 minutes at 5.6 mph, just once though.

I see you lost (only) 7 pounds, but there is a HUGE difference in your before/now pics! WTG!!

Congrats on passing the 30lb marker! I was sooooooo ecstatoc when I did! Keep up the great work! I am sooo looking forward to the big 5-0 marker, but I am STUCK at a 42-43lb weight loss.

I think we all have a body part, or parts, that we dislike. Unfortunately, some of those parts we have NO control over-like broad shoulders, nose shape/size, etc. Also, remember physical appearance is not what we should be really concentrating on. Being healthy and being a good person are much more important (easy to say,…

CONGRATS!!!! Making and attaining those small goals makes it all feel worth it!

Well, generally you should not eat anything after 7pm. And laying down or resting/sleeping right after a meal is a no-no as far as I know. I usually eat dinner between 4-5pm. I dont go lay down or go to sleep until after 11pm.

My husband knows my weight, has since we met. It really doesnt matter if he knows the number if he can see you. I tell my hubby so he knows how much work is put into it and how much I am losing/have lost and we can celebrate it :)

What helps me most is not making the purchase to begin with. I love frozen chocolate, melted chocolate, fridge cold chocolate..etc. LOL. If I must buy it for something, then I try to buy something that I do not like. I hate fruity chocolate and white chocolate and do not milk 3 musketeers. So..those could be purchased…

LOL Lil Leah, I was thinking the same thing.

Congrats! So glad you hit your 1st goal!!!
-
Just curious, but why fret about 2-3 pounds??
-
Congrats but that sucks! I will probably have the same problem. My old coat is a 2x, and another one is 18-20. I'm now in a 10/12 LOL
-
Great story! Keep up the good work!

Congrats!! I too tried mine on after losing 43 pounds. (I went to prom in 2000) and unfortunately, it does not fit yet :( However, I am wearing clothes from 2002 that I havent been able to get in since 2002 (I got pregnant and had 3 kids and got married since then).

Thats how the bed is constructed on World World. It's interesting what you learn from little kid cartoons. LOL

Exercise and Diet should go hand in hand. I have been eating better since May with minimal exercise and have lost 14 pounds and very few inches. However, from the end of Feb til May I was eating better AND going to step class. I lost 30lbs and 10" in my hips alone. I'd say exercise is crutial to toning and slimming.

I am still obsessed with the scale. Although, I do look in the mirror much more than before, usually trying on 15 outfits seeing what fits this month. I have gone from a sz 18/20 to a 10/12 and I still don't think I really SEE the difference. Everyone I knows see it and comment but I still feel like a fat girl.

You look great in that picture. Doesnt appear that you have anything to lose-anywhere. Congrats on your wedding!
-
I have found that when you feel your worst, is the time you need to try your hardest to eat the "right" things. You can do it! Good luck!
-
Probably related to the heat. Drink more water, and maybe run on a treadmill when it's too hot outside to exhert that much energy. good luck!
-
Congrats!!!!!!!!! I too lost 10" from my hips, but only about 7" from my waist. 7" from my chest also. It feels great to see smaller numbers!! I need to get back to working out. My step class ended and I LOVED it. Can't wait for it to start up again in Sept!

First of all, you must be doing something right...you have lost 50 pounds! Congrats! Secondly, it sure does suck getting your period! Sometimes I just feel too crappy to even care what I eat or do. I'd like to just lay around sometimes and I really should be exercising.
