I had to do week 1 and 2 twice but I had trouble pacing myself, I would just run a full speed and not be able to make it the whole time. I did like C25k though and it helped me a bit. I can say that I enjoy running now

It's you...you don't want to change. Until you want it for you then you won't change. You can name all the reasons you should change but it needs to be something you want to do, so until/if that happens you won't have the motivation.

I do both actually. During the school year my breakfasts and lunches are very routine, I know what works and it keeps me from eating the cakes and such that people bring to work. But my afternoon snack and dinner vary because they can and I like the variety. It's really just what works for you.

Fat shaming is horrid, any kind of shaming is. When it became ok to talk to/about someone like that, well, I'm not sure. I would defend anyone who was being demeaned in that way.

Bloating is a fact of life, it sucks but it happens to all. Cravings, I hold out, I can handle cravings of something salty but forget it when it's sweets, especially starburst favereds. So I hold out until it's not as strong and then I can indulge and not eat the whole dang 5lb bag. Otherwise I'm screwed.

Sometimes I'll cut up berries or a banana amd dip it in a little whipped cream. I also enjoy an apple with peanut butter or just a little cinnamon sugar.

So you were being a drama queen and gave the BS saying of I think we should part ways to try to get what you want and he didn't fight you...mean what you say and say what you mean. I sometimes make chicken salad with diced apples and walnuts and put them in cucumbers or hollowed out tomatoes...they are pretty good, then I have some cheese and a fruit or veggie. Or I make buffalo chicken dip it's good warmed up or cold and celery and carrot sticks

I do it for me, I like the way I feel when I'm feeling good. I also do it for my son...as a full time single mom, I feel he needs a good example of healthy, and I am the best option since I'm mom and dad.

I will say cutting out fast food was hard for me...I use to go months without having it and then I would get it and feel like I needed everyday for a couple weeks. I just don't go anymore but it can be a hard habit to break.

I had Brussels sprout salad yesterday...it was AMAZING! there were chickpeas, nuts, and something else. But it was really good.

I usually do some sort of fruit or a stick of cheese. If I eat anything heavy (like breakfast itself) I get sick or I end up walking because I hate throwing up. So usually it's a piece of fruit.
