  • I was supposed to start it today with someone for accountability but I lost them lol...plus I didn't realize they were starting on a Sunday which isn't good for me because it's a long work day. I'll be in for tomorrow though :)
  • It is hard work. I tried it a few years ago and made it 3 weeks. That was my personal weakness though....it really is a great program! If I can find my copy, I will give it another go :)
  • I just started it again....I attempted it a while back and quit after a couple of weeks due to laziness, lol. I will be doing week 1 day 2 this evening. I only run outdoors, and I prefer to run in the evenings....I am really really not a morning person.

  • I use Runtastic, but Nike+ seems to be a very popular one, so I downloaded it to give it a try. It looks like it gives you badges for exceeding previous times and other things. I have not checked it out much yet.

  • The Diva Run gives super cute medals for their 5K....and they have hot firemen at the finish line. Go for it ladies, lol! It also looks like the Disney runs give medals for their 5Ks as well.   • I think it depends on your level of activities. When I was doing Insanity, it was recommended for me to have 1700-1850 based on the formula Insanity gives you. I am not doing that at the moment, but have been regularly running and will start training for a half marathon in a few weeks, and I have mine set at 1400.
  • I like Muse, Linkin Park , 80's hair bands.....they have a good beat and keep me going.
  • I am still trying to figure this stuff out too, lol. I have a Polar FT7 and then I use the MapMyRun app on my Android to track distance. I did a 4.06 mile fast walk/light jog in 1hr 16 mins a few days ago and MFP and MMR both said around 280 calories burned, but HRM said 771. That's a HUGE difference. Do I trust the HRM…
  • I would go with iheartRadio just because of the less commercials (on the make your own channels). As much as I hate Cricket wireless overall, I love that they have Muve Music, so I can get all the songs I want free, and then make my own playlists with them.
  • Not Baltimore, but I am doing the Savannah one in August. I am so excited...it's my first 5K, and I love seeing all the fun pics on their Facebook :)

  • There is a way to put it in yourself, if you are tracking your calories burned. When you do a search for it, and it does not find it, you will get the option to add it yourself. If you are not tracking the calories burned though, it does not calculate it for you, I don't think. It's been a long time since I added them, so…
  • I have never given birth vaginally, but have had several c-sections and I have that problem too...overnight pads are my friend, lol.
  • Oh, and adding on...I do log my exercise, but I do not try to eat back my exercise calories. It might just be me, but I like seeing the hard work on there everyday, lol. :) Good luck to you!
