^^ she's right. No heat definitely ice! And I sprained my ankle two weeks ago (running a marathon), so I've been laying off the running while it heals. I did bike the first week and started elliptical the second week. Just do no impact cardio. :) Good luck!!

Great results!! You're doing amazing!! :)

You have to change things up sometimes... your BMR at 126 lbs is roughly 1260 calories. That's how many calories your body requires to simply lay in bed all day. That doesn't take into account getting out of bed, going about your day, walking to the store, cleaning, cooking, working, etc. etc. Have you tried eating your…

Dan knows his stuff. . . . click on the link and follow those guidelines. There are way too many factors to give a suggested calorie intake for everyone at that height. I'm 5'1" .... I work out a lot (average calorie burn per workout is 500), eat around 1600 - 1800 per day. It's worked for me.

we GOT this Amy!! I know we do! We just gotta keep at it! Those last few will come off!! :)

Thank you so much!!! I love purple. ;)

I LOVE Claim Your Journey!!! I'm in north Louisiana so I follow from a distance. ;)

Wow!! Seven years!? That's amazing. That will be me, I promise that!! Congrats to you, too! Maintenance is going to be tricky, but I'm excited about reaching my goal!! :)

Thank you! And you can totally get there! Remember I'm very short -- 5'1" so a little extra weight looks like a lot on me. Just stick with it. There will be rough days ... We all have them. But just wake up the next day and try again! Each day is a new opportunity. :)

I gotta shake things up, D! These last 10 to 15 lbs need to be gone by my birthday!
-
DBB -- do you exercise a lot? I've stayed at 1200 - 1300 for the past several months. I work out pretty hard with a trainer 4 days a week and do 6 days of cardio. On weight days, I swear I'm always hungry.

I'm not a huge meat eater either, but I *make* myself eat chicken, lean steak, and tuna (REFUSED to touch it before this journey). The key is getting it to taste good. I add no-salt seasoning (Mrs Dash has some great flavors); I saute veggies in low-sodium sauces; I have at least one protein shake a day after heavy…

I take a scoop of AminoX (get it at GNC) and drink a little before my work out and a little during. I'm like the guy ^^ that wants to lift cars in the parking lot. It gives a DEFINITE power boost. I burned 1006 calories yesterday working out for 2.5 hours on it. I also take a fat burner (Roxy Lean), so the combination of…

Weight training is absolutely important. Your calorie burn will definitely last longer when you lift. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. Keep up the weights and make sure your cardio keeps you in the fat burning zone with your heart rate. Also, are you using a heart rate monitor watch to track calories…

I'm about two weeks into *heavy* lifting and I'm right there with ya. My trainer ha me eating 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. So I'm trying to eat 140 grams of protein/day. It really helps with hunger. Eat every 2 to 3 hours and always some sort of protein in each meal/snack. :)

Bump!! AWESOME!!

I like to snack on nuts, but I count them out and put them in snack-sized baggies so I'm not eating out of an open container... Don't want to lose track of how many I've eaten!

I know. I know. Two of the healthy foods, right? I could probably choke down the tuna. But oatmeal is out completely. :( My mother made me eat it as a child until I puked. :(
