I am 23 weeks pregnant, and if I didn't track my calories, I would probably weigh a lot more than I do now. I have gained 11 pounds so far, which my doctor is happy with. And so am I. What I am doing is wearing my fit bit surge and using that to get my TDEE daily. I always try to eat no more than that number. I also still…

Idk that macaroni looks more than 500 cals. I was thinking 600-700.

I'm 5'3" 165 lbs. and I've been working off my post pregnancy pounds. 18 more lbs to get to my pre-preg bod, then I want to lose another 7 pounds. Maybe more, not sure. Total I've got 25 to lose. Minimum! FR me!

Oh no...

Baking soda mixed with water can be used as a very gentle shampoo. Check google for ratios of water to baking soda.

Try a simple Google search for foods high in iron and other minerals and vitamins that will assist in the rate of absorption???

Doesn't anyone get tired of telling people, day after day, that they need to use a food scale instead of measuring cups? Not that I'm disagreeing!! The advice is correct. But man, for all the regular posters here, it must be aggravating lol Sorry to but in on the post, btw. I feel better that I got that off my chest.

I can relate. I used to be overweight from ages 12 to 18. Was constantly teased and called fat by my own sister. Developed eating disorders in my early 20s. Lost weight. Still felt like the old, "fat" me regardless. Years later, when at a normal weight, I saw old photos of myself from the eating disorder phase of my life,…

Trying this!! YUM!

Ever try logging your days starting at a different time? Like from 7pm to 7am for example. Or have you tried eating a bigger breakfast? That sometimes helps me with late night eating.

Oh no not another one of these posts. First a 20 year old "lifelong athlete" now THIS?!

Can't read all the responses, as this thread is making me hungry. But... I usually make mashed cauliflower. Maybe you can mix potatoes & cauliflower to lessen the calorie load? I've also heard of people using parsnips in mashed cauliflower- not sure why, maybe it helps give that mashed potato consistency. Not sure how the…

OP this might be useful to explain some things to you. http://www.m.webmd.com/diet/features/is-pms-sabotaging-your-diet

I use the tiles on my bathroom floor as markers so I know I put my scale in the same spot every time. Also, I get on my scale slowly, and weigh myself about 3 times to make sure it's accurate. Also, make sure you stand up straight to make sure your body is more evenly distributed.

I don't trust it at all. I've compared it to my Polar HRM and my Fitbit Surge and MFP tends to overestimate. Many people on the boards, as you'll soon see, count only a certain percentage of MFP cals burned (or only eat back a certain percentage, if you want to look at it that way).... Like 50-75%.

I weigh myself probably every other day, but don't weigh at all during PMS and TOM. Always first thing in the morning, after I poop lol and before I eat. Usually naked but sometimes with clothes on- but never with heavy clothes like jeans or thick sweaters.
-
I can gain up to 5 lbs before and during TOM. Which is why I will not weigh myself starting at 10 days before TOM (when my PMS attitude starts), and the 4-5 days of TOM. Once TOM is gone, maybe a day or 2 later, I'll weigh myself.

Wow, congratulations, you're beautiful :)

Hey ladies! I have 21 pounds to lose to get to pre-preggo weight, then I want to lose 7 more. I have a beautiful baby boy who is close to 5 mos old. Add me!

Or you can get one of those body wraps that shrinks inches off LOL not that I'm advocating it but as a last resort? Edited to add that I don't know how it works exactly, maybe water loss? Either way the changes are not permanent.

Don't take this The wrong way, but you seem to have an unhealthy relationship with food. Maybe you should start by seeing a counselor? I understand what you're going through as I've been there.

Rest your body.

I am honestly not saying this to be funny or sound like a jerk, but if you think about it, people with anorexia do not nearly meet their body's caloric needs and they have low body fat.

Thanks so much for the info!!!

Thank you so much, your response was very helpful! I don't understand what you mean though ... Jawbone bought it, and they're not willing to fix it if it breaks?
