Hairy Bikers Spanish Chicken... it was yummm

It tried! I tore a ligament in my hip while hiking and it took me out of action for 10 weeks. The first few weeks I comfort ate, feeling sorry for myself. Then it dawned on me that I didn't now how long it would take to heal and if I continued on the way I was I would gain the weight back I had already lost and I wasn't…

I am there now too with my smaller size clothes becoming too big. I bought a few things and now feel like I am wearing the same thing everyday! I refuse to go buy a whole new wardrobe though so this is my life for the next 1-2 years lol

I have had miserable periods all my life (now 50) and a couple years ago my GP gave me tranexamic acid tablets (might be called something different in US, this is in the UK). What a miracle drug! Take on heavy days and it transforms it into an almost light day and cramps disappear. I was told it may make my periods longer…

Makes most of my recipes pretty useless as the ingredients/weights vary every time I make them. Like smoothies and oatmeal using different fruits/toppings. This is definitely something they need to address!!

It's very odd that the apps have better functions than the website (like the weekly view which I love). Guess I will use the apps more often!

I usually eat some of them during the week at some point. I go by a weekly allowance rather than daily because some days I am hungrier than others - like the day after a lot of exercise!

I have done WW twice and both times I lost about 40-50 lbs and then gave up. Point counting is just not 'normal' lol I would not eat certain things because I couldn't find the point value and why convert CALORIES into points values (which isnt so easy now with pro points anyway) when you can just count calories? I haven't…

Not a thing. All things in moderation.

You all look fantastic!

You can do push ups against the kitchen counter. I do this while waiting for the kettle or microwave. Its easy and you can do it till you feel the burn. Squats work well to help strengthen your legs and just simple walking helps more than you realise. Anything you have around the house can be used as weights: water…

Eat less, move more

First steps are always the hardest. Welcome and good luck on your journey

I agree with most of the above. Unless you get heartburn or have trouble sleeping with a full tummy, when you eat has nothing to do with losing weight. It can however, help you to keep within your daily calorie allowance. Would not work for me as I eat about half my calories from 6pm onwards.

I quit in March using e-cigs (nicolite brand). Best decision I ever made. I had tried everything else several times and couldn't do it, even though almost everyone around me had quit over the years. It's amazing how much more energetic you can be when you can breathe!! I had smoked for almost 35 years 1-2 packs a day.

I can resist most things on a daily basis depending on the day. However, when I go back to the US once or twice a year (from the UK) there are soooo many things that I miss while in the UK that I struggle to resist: bbq beef ribs (especially from Claim Jumper Mmmmm), burger from Red Robin & the thick reeses peanut butter…

It depends on a whole range of things. The calories burned for me walking 5000 steps would be different from you. Depends how fast you are walking, your age, weight, etc. There may be some program on line that you can use though.

Good luck on your journey!

You look fantastic! Well done!!
