Do you have a food scale with a tare option? I always tare out my jar of PB(with the lid off), then use the negative measurement from what I take out with a spoon/knife. I also do that for mayo/ketchup/jelly/ etc. Saves some time, and less dishes since I'm not using a measuring utensil!

I spend a lot of time on Reddit, and boy, do they love to hate on straw feminists. This story is basically Reddit circle jerk 101. I saw it in the wild, and my BS detector went off.

Or grill one up and put it in the bun for a portobello burger! I like to top mine with sundried tomatoes and a roasted garlic hummus spread.

A couple of weeks ago, I made some "cheesesteak" caps that were really good! I broiled the bottom side of the cap for five minutes, then flipped them over, sauteed some deli roast beef, onions, garlic, and green pepper in a little bit of oil, then stuffed them into the cap, threw on a thin slice of cheese(I used colby…

Have one hard drink, then follow it with a soda water/diet tonic with a lime. Keep alternating. No one has to know that your tonic water is alcohol-free!

I noticed that your diary doesn't show fiber, which is important when counting carbs. Remember, if you're going low carb, you need to count NET carbs(total carbs minus fiber). One beer won't knock you out of ketosis, especially if it's a light beer. I'm not on a low carb diet, but I have researched atkins and the keto diet.…

Have you considered carb cycling?

I just never find myself satisfied after eating Smart Ones/Lean Cuisine, etc. Have you ever considered pre-portioning your meals and freezing them? Do you have a slow cooker? Check this out! http://whoneedsacape.com/2013/09/20-meals-in-2-hours-slow-cooker-freezer-meals/

No, it won't. In fact, you're still at a deficit. Also, even if you did go over your calories for one day, it's not going to hurt.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Can't waste that precious, precious yolk!

Or you could just use a food scale to weigh the entire loaf when it's done baking, enter the total amount of grams/ounces in the recipe calculator, and weigh each slice. Sometimes I just don't want an entire slice of bread, but sometimes, I want ALL THE BREAD.

These aren't bars, but I've had great success with this slow cooker recipe! 5 cups old fashioned rolled oats 1/2 cup slivered almonds 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 2/3 honey 1/3 cup coconut oil or butter * 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1 tablespoon vanilla 1 cup raisins or craisins, I used a combination of…

I've actually added the weights of a few of my pots/pans/containers to my personal database(not publicly shared) just for the added convenience of having it on here when I log a recipe.

This is BY FAR my favorite protein powder. I like to add it to milk(I use 2%) and mix it with an immersion blender until it gets nice and frothy; when I'm feeling really frisky, I'll throw in about a teaspoon of instant espresso. So good!

I second Jefit! http://www.jefit.com/

I was vegan for fours years, vegetarian for around five or six. I didn't really experience any changes when I brought dairy and meat back into my diet. I'm definitely not anywhere near being a vegetarian now, but I still enjoy a lot of veg cuisine when I go out to eat.

I was going to suggest Daiya, darn! If you can find it in your area, I recommend trying Teese's non-dairy cheeses. I know you can order it online, but if you're in the Chicago area, you can probably find it at a local grocer.
