  • Texas here as well!!! Central Texas.
  • Actually if you are a big polar fan they have a new device called the polar loop. It is suppose to do a bit of both. You can track your activity all day and you can get the strap for your work outs. I was about to invest in one but I went with the fitbit force because I could link it to this. Plus I kept seeing people talk…
  • Almost down my 1st 100lbs ( i started before I joined mfp) Still got another 100lbs to lose. Anyone that is active feel free to add me!
  • I am fat because I was full of excuses, lazy, and I love food. Simple as that. Now I know that and I am putting in the work to fix it. :)
  • oh my I need Fitbit friends too!!! http://www.fitbit.com/user/28P9WJ
  • First off let me inform you that if you do get responses on here a lot will probably be like cut the shakes eat real food lol..or coachs trying to make whatever they sell sound like something you need in your life. With that being said I use ShakeO... downside is it's expensive and for $100-$130. I ordered it with p90x3…
  • I only am trying the shakeology for now since I got p90x3 with it at a discounted price from a friend that is a beachbody coach .... It is very expensive i normally take Muscle Pharm Protein powder
  • I agree with you on some of this. At the same time I don't drink my shake so I have enough calories left over to eat fast food or junk. I drink my shake and than have 2-3 decent meals a day.
  • I do Shakeology and have one shake a day but I always add some frozen fruit to mine. I like to take it for breakfast or sometimes I'll eat breakfast and have one for lunch. I don't think they would hold me over well if I had two a day. I would do as some suggest and add some snacks in between meals.
  • What type of HRM do you have? I would go with the HRM! These numbers on MFP are estimates and everyones body is different. The only weird thing to me is that normally MFP over estimates for me..
  • 28 here around your weight range a bit bigger but got some 5ks in mind this year. You want a challange lets go lol. I am on here daily and love to actually get to know people and would love someone that will challange me!
  • About 2-3 years ago I made the switch from regular soda to diet for the sole purpose of saving calories. It ended up working for awhile..than it all just came to a hault and I fell off track but aquired the taste so I kept drinking it. Now I have completely stopped been soda free for several months now and couldn't be…
  • I love my force!! All I wanted was the water resistance but I can manage without it...it was more of a convenience thing considering i wasn't really active in the shower or taking steps. I got my sister the flex and she likes it. I think you can't go wrong with either if you're going to get one.
  • Mexia,Tx most people can't even pronounce it correctly lol. About 40 miles east of Waco.
  • You're welcome. A lot of people weren't aware of it. I think it's awesome :)
  • Welcome back Diva! I like to be active on here so if you are too than accept my friend request :).
  • Xbox One all the way. The features are just awesome. There are some kinks that need to be worked on but I am sure that will come. I love how I can control it by speaking to it. Also the xbox has this cool Xbox One Fitness App so you really don't need any fitness games to be out because it has workout videos intergrated on…
  • I am no noob myself. I've been going strong for a few months now. My goal for 2014 is be able to run a 5k. I have made major progress finally being able to run a mile since I was in highschool. While my goal isn't on the same level as yours it is similar. I lift, run, walk, and play basketball 5 days a week. I am trying to…
  • ON MFP STRAIGHT FLEXIN!! lol Wow,you look great and I'm diggin the shoulder half sleeve!
  • Wow you look great and you're very inspiring!
  • Don't go by MFP for calories burned while doing your workouts. When I compared what my heart rate said I burned to MFP, MFP almost doubled the amount. Like I have always said I don't know how accurate everything is but I would rather record my workouts to low than way to high. Especially if you plan on eating exercise…
  • I personally own a Polar FT7 heart rate monitor. I LOVE IT!!!! Polar is suppose to be pretty accurate because they come with the chest strap but is only for when you are working out. The fitbit would be more for all day usage but doesn't come with anything to monitor your heart rate so I am not really sure how accurate it…
  • Do it as a warm-up at the gym. Come on 50 won't kill you. lol
  • I am in! cake walk. Lets get it people!
  • Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: 767 calories (cardio/strength gym FT7) Tues: 887 calories (cardio/strength also walking with g/f FT7) Wed: 520 calories burned (track/pool FT7) Thur: 1017calories burned (Basketball FT7) Fri: Rest Day Sat: calories burned (how they were burned) Sun: calories burned (how they were burned) Total: 3191…
  • When I was doing research I found that the most accurate are the ones with straps. I believe all the Polar models come with straps and they are suppose to be some of the best. I know on www.toptenreviews.com three polar models made the top ten Polar RS100 FT4 and FT7. I got my Ft7 for around $60
  • Polar is awesome. Did my research as well and they are some of the best most accurate HRMs. I have the polar FT7 it's pretty awesome I do all of my workouts with it. I got mine from www.heartratemonitorsusa.com way cheaper than the Polar site.
