I'm from Glasgow. Losing weight for general health and the fact that I am hoping to get married in 2014. Hoping 18 months is enough time for me to continue with what I've lost already after a kidney infection.

I'm in the UK (Glasgow) too and I went to Relate and they were really good at helping me and my fiance solve our problems after things got tough. I would give them a call and see what they can do. Its a lot more common than you might think, loads of people go, We had a 3 month waiting list so trust me lots of people go,…

Can't see your diary so its difficult to see if you are going wrong somewhere. Can you make your diary open and gives us a bit more information?

Ok, everyone calm down and stop telling the lady to leave her partner. Some of you obviously seem to have never had an adult relationship. Its not good for her, its not good for her three kids, and its not good for her partner to just throw in the towel. Now, you obviously know your fiance, why do you think he is insecure?…

Just go for a workout and then you can have it. Don't shut yourself out and make yourself miserable.

I don't have a bike yet or even my bike license, but my reward when I make it to my goal weight is a nice Kawasaki or a Yamaha. Would like a Harley or a Triumph but I can't afford it. :( I covet my Dad's Kawasaki ZZR 600 though!

Total champ! Well done you. You have done brilliantly so be proud of yourself.

I wouldn't really take the word of a drug addict. Kate Moss is not the zenith of fitness as I am pretty sure if she ever had a medical she would qualify as skinny fat. Absolutely no muscle on that girl whatsoever. Whats the point in being thin if you can barely lift your own handbag?

A baked potato with some cottage cheese and a pint of (semi) skinned milk always works for me. I know it not really a breakfast food but it does work. Or have a big bowl of porridge with some semi skimmed.
-
Same here, I don't see the point in denying yourself something that you really want. If you do it just makes you grow disillusioned. Much better to work it in and do the exercise so you can have a treat and be happier.

Thats me, I'm in Glasgow. Add me :) x

Once I get rid of all my weight I am getting a boob job or I will be totally flat chested. I'm a chick and I find at least a C-cup to be the most attractive. I have no idea why though.

If I really want something I will have it, depriving yourself of what you enjoy is soul destroying and just means you wan't keep to your regime. If I am going out for a meal or drinks I will up my exercise accordingly to balance it out.
-
If you do the work you decide what the meal is. If he doesn't like it he can make it himself. Don't feel bad for trying to be healthy just because he is lazy.

I would cut out artificial sugars where possible yes. So no fizzy sugary drinks like Coke or foods like ice cream etc. Moderation is good but don't over indulge. The sugars in fruit and veg are easier for our bodies to handle so I wouldn't cut out vital fruit and veg as you get so many vitamins etc from them.

Sweet 24 here in Scotland.
-
Wow, I am intrigued. What is your regime like?

Take it from me you need to take a step back for a while and let your hamstring injury heal and maybe go to the Physio for some therapy. I pushed myself with that and I ended up walking with a stick for over a year.
