I do a much smaller window. I eat between 12pm and 2pm. But I have no problem changing it up and doing different times if needed. During my job, we eat early so that will be more of a challenge. But I'll cross that bridge come next January. I need to get more protein though and less bread.

I'm back to IF. It seems to help me to not over eat. I like it because if something comes up I can just start again the next day.

Depending on how much you weigh it could be either. But generally I believe you burn about 100 calories per mile. The more you weigh the higher the burn, the less you weigh the lower the burn.

Exactly, get to it and be awesome

To each his own. Do things your way, if it doesn't work do it another way. Eat the way you want to eat and as long as your calorie count is where it should be to lose weight then it's all good. Whole 30 is a good place to start. It's a start and we learn by doing not by others saying what to do.

Love this advise. Must be why I have you on my friends list. You are amazing
-
I love running now. Took me several tries to finally like it but I like it now

To much variance to let it get you down. You had more clothes on, it was later in the day. You probably had food and drink in you. So yeah you could be 5lbs heavier, but don't sweat it. Just know what you have done. Even if it's true and the lbs are dropping on your scale it means you are still losing and that's what…

What is this Thick is in? Really are you comfortable where you are? If so then stop, if not then continue trying. This is about being healthy and happy and if you feel you are there then stop.
-
That is so amazing. I'm so happy for you and I don't even know you. And this is an awesome post and all beginners should take a look at it and you.

Weigh all your foods, it's really the best way. Fix your meals to take to work with you that way your not guessing at what the calorie count is. Soon you will get good at guessing what things weigh and you'll be able to stop. Log everything. If you want something eat it, just make it fit into your daily goals. If it says a…

Everyday but thinking about changing things up and going back to once a week. I'm also making other changes in my daily life so this will help me

Read it again. I ignored your "other" advice and chose to comment on this ONE.

Exaggeration on your part. People leave things in the fridge to reheat and eat for the whole week all the time. Some cook all day Sunday so they have meals cooked and ready to go during the week. They've probably done it for years now. I make egg muffins on Sunday to have as my breakfast I'm pretty sure I'm still alive to…

I refused to weigh myself when I first started because in my heart I knew if I saw how much I did weight I would tell myself there is no way I can do it and then just not even try. Well I've done it and I'm not done yet, but I've lost half of me and OMG do I feel a difference. And just so you know I was sitting here eating…

I trust the website then trust my exercise will cover the difference, which is why I don't eat back my exercise calories.

Stop encouraging him to better himself and work on you. Let him be how he wants to be. He will see it one day or he won't. Do what you do and let him do what he does. In all the years I was obese and my husband was not very nice, it made me try for about a week and once even a few months but I never stuck with it because…

I personally think he got it right. With a warning to be careful and why you should be careful. He doesn't want to see you with a back injury so therefore the warning. He did his job as your doctor and as a doctor that cares about your well being not just your health. Notice he didn't say Don't do that, just be careful…

Because I am a special snowflake and I like how I feel when I'm not eating all those carbs. I also crave less sweets when I'm low carbing it. Whatever to each his own and why you worried about what someone else does on "THEIR" lifestyle change it works for them and that's all that matters.

Cottage Cheese, oatmeal, liver. These are the worst.
-
Maybe not for you but it actually may help others, like myself. I eat bread and pasta's and I crave sweets and lots of chocolate and can't quit eating them. I quit the bread and the pasta's and the cravings go away and I can have a piece or two and not eat a whole bag. It may be nothing to you but to others it is. Cutting…

SMH....chemicals as in the ones put in there to keep things from going bad, the ones that are in there to enhance the flavor. The red dyes and yellow dyes, the ones that keep your meat from turning grey. If I can have it fresh from the farmers market instead of fresh from a can I'd rather have that. If I can have it fresh…

Clean eating isn't so much about the nutrients as it is about the lack of chemicals in the food. We know that we are still going to get some chemicals in foods but the less you consume we feel the better your body will feel. I know I've slacked off the clean eating and I'm struggling to control my weight and the cravings.…

53 and over 200lbs lost so yes it can be done

McDonalds, Burger King, Hardee's, Wards places like that. But I'm back eating at them and I'm gaining so I've got to get this under control again before I weight 400+ lbs again :(

My husband said I don't know what kind of ice cream you bought but never buy it again, it's horrible stuff. I laughed so hard because he ate the doggie ice cream. He understood then why it was nasty. We still laugh about that one.

I lied when I said I ate a whole bag of Hershey reece cup mini's because I was depressed about not seeing my grandbaby, the truth is they were all melty from sitting in the hot car and I ate them because I wanted them and they were damned good and I have no regrets. I may even buy another bag just to put in the hot car…

Nope no big deal. Eat it if you want or don't eat if that's what you prefer. I'm just now eating and I'm going to eat most of my calories for the day and the rest in an hour or two. Works for me

Starvation mode is a myth, imo, but some believe in it. Don't let anyone scare you into eating more because of it. Give it more time.

I wish I looked that good
