  • You should be very pleased with your weight. I really doubt you have any extra weight at all. You are not eating enough calories. Even 1200 is not enough for a day and at 600 and working out you are starving yourself. The only way to look healthy is to be healthy. You need to eat lots more. Just make sure that you eat lots…
  • Great job!! You look so awesome :) Thanks for the pics. You are motivating others to succeed.
  • Since the 24th of November I have gone from 131 to 126. I have lost 5 lbs!! Can't wait to check in again on January 3rd. Keep up the good work everyone!
  • k8ieP: 131lbs I hope to LOSE during the holidays. We aren't even having bread at our Thanksgiving ( but of course there will be pie) :) Good luck everyone!!
  • I imagine the body that I want and the way I want to feel and ask myself what I can do to get there. :)
  • What a change! You look so much better :)
  • nice job!! You look GREAT!!
  • Starting out is the hardest. Once you continue to diet and exercise for two or three weeks it becomes a natural habit. As everyone else has said we all have weeks of setbacks like that. Just use it as motivation to pick it up again and take it seriously this time. You have to make the choice for your health everyday (even…
  • There is a whole forum for people who want to lose weight and tone up. Stroutman81 is a personal trainer and wants to help everyone understand how to best get into shape. I am trying to lose weight and tone up. I do weight training twice a week and cardio 3 times a week or more. You need the strength training to protect…
  • 50 lbs is a major accomplishment but you can't put a price on being able to stop smoking. Congrats and thanks for sharing and giving inspiration to others who want to be able to quit as well. :flowerforyou:
  • Great!! I am so glad you decided to make a change. I have also let myself slip before because of a busy life and will never do it again. This is a slow and long journey but it is priceless and everyone here wants to help you! Good luck!:drinker:
  • Ive been on this diet and the exercise since September and have only lost 5 lbs. I know I am stronger though and have lost inches!! I would say to avoid the scale and just keep up the good work. It takes a long time to do it right.
  • I am confused about it as well and usually just listen to my body. If I am hungry I eat my exercise calories and if not I don't. Sounds like you should drink your wine and enjoy your success:drinker:
  • Bump! Thanks so much :drinker:
  • bump!!! yum!!
  • I think the best way to motivate yourself to get to the gym is to write a schedule for the whole week. Decide how many days a week you would like to work out and what times and put them on the calender!! That is the first step. Next step is having some great music to listen to that motivates you to move. Something you…
  • Must have my coffee but have been drinking it black for about 8 years. I drink some form of black tea with no cream or sugar in the afternoons. Sugar alternative = HONEY!! It is so great!
  • That is so great! I also have asthma and had to run in PE class anyway. I would have an attack and just have to lay on the floor until it went away. Four years ago I decided I wasn't going to let asthma get in my way so i signed up for a triathlon. It was indoor and you just had to complete all of the running biking and…
  • It doesn't really work so predictably for me. I have it set to one pound a week but some weeks I lose nothing and then others I loose 2 pounds. I would think of everything on this site as guidelines not exact figures. Just make sure to stay close to your calorie goal while working cardio and strength training into your…
  • I had the same happen to me. It was with lifting weights. I was hydrated and was breathing correctly but I would get a sudden onset of extreme pain on both sides of the back of my head. It would throb with my heart rate and decrease over a few hours but lasted for days. I finally decided to go to the doctor about it and…
  • agreed! Also remember to build some muscle to help use those calories!!
  • I love this! We all make choices everyday about our health (even if we don't want to). It is our responsibility to decide what we eat and no one elses'. Now we have healthy fast food like the chili from Wendys or a Subway sandwich instead of a mystery meat grease patty and a crazy amount of grease soaked "potatoes". If we…
  • yummy! Bump
  • Thanks for the ideas. I will def. pass them on.
  • Wow what a difference. Congrats to him and to you. I see you are doing well also :drinker:
  • me too! Haha:bigsmile: Good luck everyone!
  • Look at all the support you have here. 2lbs is not a big deal at all. This happens even when you do everything right so you should be glad it didn't get any worse. No one can do this for you and all of the kind words here may not be enough to change your mind but know that if you give up today you will be on this journey…
  • Happy Birthday! I am so glad you decided to love your body. It shows! Congrats:flowerforyou:
  • That sounds great! Thanks for sharing :)
  • I would say it does work as a way to burn some calories and learn some yoga or strength exercises. Sometimes I just can't make it to the gym so I use wii fit. Also if I eat too much and the wii fit is there for me to burn calories at night. I think if you only use the wii fit you may not see many changes but I find it is a…
