  • Interesting, my buddies at work are my biggest challenges. I really enjoy working with them and when lunch time rolls around and they are heading off for a very fast lunch I really hate hanging behind to eat at my desk. (we are teachers and have 40 minutes to drive somewhere, order, eat, and get back i.e. faster than fast…
  • Anything I would have to replace if I stopped, I count. This way I have an accurate picture of the level of activity I have. So if I stopped parking in the back of the parking lot, I would probably not have to replace that, so I don't log it. I wear a fitbit everyday, so it kind of adjusts that stuff for me. The last two…
  • My attitude toward food is to consume less calories than I burn. My attitude about fitness is to be active. I hike and backpack almost every week. What's yours? My attitude towards message boards is to be friendly and not abusive. What's yours?
  • When I was born in 1961 there were a wide range of human conditions in which medicine could not offer any hope. I've watched as scientist have greatly reduced that number. That has made me optimistic that modern medicine can greatly assist us and will continue to have breakthroughs in treatments. But, so many people here…
  • That they lost the weight and no longer post here? I'll keep you informed. So far after 10 days I have lost 7.5 pounds on Belviq. Yes, I went through a couple days of backaches and headaches, but those are gone. The plan that my doctor and I have worked out will eventually get me off the blood pressure pills I've been…
  • I keep looking at the topic title and thinking, well damn I fit into *all* my shorts, I want to *not* fit into them because they are too big
  • I just finished packing and my backpack is hovering right at 50 pounds. (2 gallons of water). I figure walking that stuff around for three days has to burn a few calories lol
  • Congrats
  • Sorry to tell you girl, your @$$ will still be there in the morning. LOL
  • I've heard people say someone may or had starved to death, I'm trying to remember someone who starved to health and fitness
  • I'll let the author herself respond for me, also from her blog . . . "The opinions in this blog are my own. I am not a medical professional and have no specialized training or knowledge in anything I write about. Okay, except software development and project management. But, luckily for you, I don't write about that much.…
  • Drink more water
  • Couple of things, opening up a hole to drain the blister is no longer recommended. It creates a nice path for germs to get in. Better to create a "donut" with some mole skin and a piece of tape over that. Now that you have a little discomfort, that same technique may help. Just cut the moleskin larger than the blister.…

  • Same thing for me, I spiked over 4 pounds, then realized I had Asian dumplings swimming in soy sauce then the next night Mexican food with salted tortilla chips and other high sodium foods. I'm hoping it flushes out my system soon. You can change your settings to track sodium.
  • I think almost everyone here has had that oh ****! :noway: there are that many calories in this :grumble:
  • great use of salacious, your high school English teacher would be proud.
  • Don't worry about something two months away, just have a good breakfast tomorrow, then a good lunch, perhaps a snack and a good dinner. One meal at a time.
  • I'd love to go out to eat, let's walk there . . . Thank you for the Reeses, let's ride bikes for a couple hours so I can eat one . . . I'd love for you to live long enough for us to grow old together, why not have a couple veggies with that steak? . . .
  • But you can take the volume and multiply by the volume weight of fatty tissue. We used that method occasionally in determining the amount of aluminum in a die casting.
  • I mentioned to a friend that every possible weight topic can be found here. Now I know I am right.
  • Thanks y'all.
  • I am thinking sodium and realizing we ate at an Asian restaurant a couple nights ago, I also had a few salted tortilla chips with guacamole last night.
  • Not working out enough to have muscle gain, clothes fit the same. Could be sodium, could be my high bp meds, but I've been on the same ones for years (one reason I am trying, no getting, to a better weight)
  • I am eating around 1600-1800 per day and eating back most of my exercise calories. That should be a 1 1/2 pound los per week.
