I just started, I'd like to know this as well.

Oh I need all the motivation I can get! Anyone can add me!

Yes, I believe the US is the only country that does this and it sucks! Companies aren't even required to pay you for maternity leave. I only got 6 weeks of leave :( Anyways, good luck to you on your journey!

Hi Ladies! I just "re-joined" after being gone for a little over a year. I am a new mommy of a 7 week old and I just returned to work last week. I am just starting to get back into the swing of things - eating healthier and working out. Would love to have some new mommy friends to help me along in this journey to get my…

How exciting! I would be interested in seeing what you are doing and how you are doing it. I have heard of others doing this as well and I would love to try it myself! I'm 7 weeks pp and am at odds with this "new body"...ugh...can't wait to start getting back into shape! Good luck to you!

You can add me! Anyone can :)

Totally agree! I am 5'4 and at 133 lbs. I workout 5-6 days a week and I recently upped my cals to 1745 and I have been feeling awesome! I have seen a major improvement.

Jackie Warner has great videos! I do her Personal Training with Jackie - Power Circuit Training DVD and it's awesome!

I workout about 5-6 days a week and I started using a protein shake after each workout and Wow, what a difference! But, I do agree with Jen, you will need to make sure that it's a lower calorie protein shake and that it fits in your calorie budget. I like the GNC Total Lean protein shakes. They are the only kind that I…

Yes, eat back your exercise cals.

Hi Judy! Hope your P90X experience is going well :) Yes, you will be able to do them eventually - just keep at it and try a little harder each time. Good luck!!

Thank you!

Ok...I've been trying to figure this out for some time now as well. I'm 5'4 and 135 lbs. Goal is to lose 15 lbs. I just recently started working out 6 days a week and average approx. 350 cals burned a day. I have a desk job so I do sit most of the day. I found that my TDEE is 2005, so if I take 15% of that that 1704...so…

Wow! Simply amazing! Way to go!!

Hi :) I have struggled for a long time trying to find something I could do at home...I tried Jillians 30-Day Shred and that's just not enough, I've tried P90X and it was fine for 6 weeks and then something came up and I just never got back into it plus the workouts are an hour or longer. What I have found this time was…

I drink a lot of fluids during the day...so, naturally, I am in the bathroom a lot :) (we have a one person bathroom) I take that alone time and do squats, lunges and even wall sits and incline pushups on the wall.

Doing Yoga X is pretty vital in getting the results you want in P90X, however, I have heard of people swapping out the Yoga for the Cardio and/or the Stretch.

Completely agree!! I am also pear shaped and I notice a HUGE difference when I weightlift. Total body workouts all the way!!

I wear mine, but I do go to Strength Training classes so they are at a continuous faster pace than doing strength training by yourself.
-
I do Body Pump and I were my HRM and just record the cals burned in Cardiovascular...It's probably not the right way, but that's what I do :)

Hey everyone! I'm getting married June 22, 2013 and I'm just starting to get serious about getting into shape. I do already have my dress so that will be my main motivation to not gain and to get into shape to rock my perfect dress :) My engagement pictures are this October so, gotta get my butt into gear! Congrats to…

Neither are going to be very accurate. I would invest in a HRM to get the most accurate.

Absolutely beautiful! Very inspirational!

I am not sure what you mean here, but I did the P90X Lean for 6 weeks and I saw a pretty substantial change in my waistline and in my legs. I only did it for 6 weeks due to things coming up in life, but I will definitely be doing it again in the near future. Good luck to you!

You should try Bodyrock.tv - Check out their website www.bodyrock.tv I have done a few of their exercises and they are pretty tough. A lot of people have great results from doing their 12 min. exercises each day.
