I agree, eat more. Is South Beach based on calories or just eat certain foods till full? I tried it years ago and can't remember but I'm sure I ate more than you do and I lost real well.

When you go to a higher altitude than you are accustomed to, the body retains fluid. Also too, you may have produced more blood to oxygenate your cells since air is thinner at higher elevations. It will come off. Sounds like you had fun!

Thanks for the encouraging post! I really liked the part when you said something was missing and you found it. Now you're driven and motivated. I had to get to that place too. It feels great. I have a long way to go but all these experiences really help.

Take in the RIGHT carbs-fruits, vegetables. Stay away from the processed kinds and I know I have to limit how much grain based carbs I take in. I stopped eating wheat after watching William Davis' video on You Tube about "Wheat Belly".

I heard of Zevia and that's the only soda I drink now. The Kroger store we have only carries 3 flavors though. I like that it is all natural, even the flavorings. I drink one a day for a treat and then a lot of water!

I drink 1/2-3/4 aloe vera juice every morning. It doesn't have much of a taste, so you can drink it plain, but I like to put a little juice in it or a splash of sugar free flavoring, like you put in coffees.
