Night shift again. It is 4 am here. I am a registered nurse in an emergency department that is always insanely busy!! My depression is spiraling out of control due to stress at home. I come on here to get motivation to do something... anything... to move forward but often no ‘ oomph’ to accomplish anything. Love reading…

Recovering from nights is killing me. At least I avoided the ice cream and toppings at work! For Saturday: Watch kids Get new phone. I killed mine by dropping it in the butter. Drink more water Think before I eat - do I really need a comfort food just because I am tired? Prep for nights again Karen

Thursday goals Sleep enough to work again tonight. Stick to meals and snacks that I have packed with me Did well last night and only ate what I brought. Avoided the ice cream and toppings that everyone else was eating. Getting closer to being in the green. Not quite there but still managed to lose 5 pounds Karen

Tuesday recap Managed well at work eating my prepared meals and snack. Avoided the choc cake!! Was well within calories till I got home and found pizza on the counter. Drat. Like many people here , I am an emotional eater. Any emotion and I eat. Lots of family stress over the weekend but trying to stick with the plan. Did not go crazy on Easter. Goals for Sunday Be nice to people at a family Easter egg hunt. Limit Easter candies to one or two so I can get close to my calorie allotment Clean bathroom. Won’t have much choice as my DIL has invited people over for dinner!! Remember what Easter is all about!!

Well I managed to avoid the cheese sandwiches at work ( which I am addicted to!) Managed to stay within calories so I am very happy with that. Will try not to snack before bed!!

Plodding along. Worked hard to get the kitchen cleaned as the other people left a HUGE mess and my dishwasher is broken. Dealing with a nasty cold which triggered my asthma. Not looking forward to night shift!!
