I got 10k steps this Monday to show myself I can do it from home (it's winter and I sit 10 hours a day for work). But the goal coming up that motivates me is turning 30! I want to have healthy habits instilled in me by then of eating healthier, higher protein meals and walking 10k steps a day by then.

Anyone a Fitbit user? I need more motivation to get more steps in!

Congrats! I see a huge difference and I'm sure how you feel is amazing too. Keep it up! I'm just starting my journey this month and would love to make the same change in the next 12 months!

Hi! I’m new to the group and excited to have some sort of accountability which I need! I have 45lbs to lose overall, I’d like to lose 6lbs by the end of August! Starting weight is 185.5 It’s hard to get workouts in with COVID changing work and gym etc but I think for now I will do TV workouts for cardio till I buy a…

Great job so far! When you can’t get your steps in you could try a standing workstation! They help burn calories and are better overall too.

My weekly weight loss was set to .5 before and it told me to eat 1720 calories approximately (when I was over 40lbs lighter) Now I am doing 1lb a week and it's telling me to eat 1520 calories. Which half a pound is 250 calories less a day so within 50 calories of what it was telling me to do beforehand. (1520+250=1770) So…

This is years later..Haha. But meh, I read the book and liked it. I don't get everyone's problem with it. It's not like a juice cleanse. You are eating real food and getting rid of things that your body can have negative reactions to, like dairy etc. For me, I'm on day 3 and it's hard but I feel like it's worth it and this…

I would like to upvote the comment above^^ And also add, do not under eat either. Its just as bad as overeating if not worse.

Amazing job! How did you avoid getting loose skin? It seems to be a big problem for a lot of people.

Fantastic job!!

This^^ And go biking! No impact for your boobs but a great burn.

Soo crazily amazing!! Thanks for sharing your story and total props to getting past yourself and reaching such a goal!

Agreed. And as you get closer to your weight goal it's going to come off a lot slower and the scale is definitely not as important as how you feel. Maybe try paying more attention to your macros? More protein, less fat kind of thing.

I think that sounds pretty great! You can always up the calories if you feel like you need to, everyone's different with that. May I ask how tall you are? That'll change your calorie intake quite a bit if you're tall versus short. Now the hard part is sticking to the plan :P I mess up all the time and miss days and eat…

HI! I see some flaws in this plan haha. Don't over do it, wear yourself out. It's okay to be semi-healthy at the start and slowly become healthier. First off though 1200 calories? Uh no no no. Don't do that to your body, love it haha don't starve it. I'm 5'7" and at 148 ate at aprox 1700 calories a day to lose half a pound…

Thanks! I've been drinking quite a bit but will up my intake! And that's a good point. I will look for some frozen fish!
-
Amazing progress! You look great, keep it up!

Sent a friend request! I think it's awesome you achieved such a goal and would love to get such a body also! I want to get into weight lifting sometime but I'm so out of shape that I haven't taken that step yet. Anywhere we're around the same weight and have the same goal, always nice to know there's others on the same…
