Protein Question?

I've been keeping track of what I eat through myfitnesspal over the last few months. I usually eat waay too much fat and not enough protein. Yesterday I tried bumping up my protein a lot (well a lot for me, I usually have 50 grams and ate 85 grams but I still had too much fat..) I felt sick, my stomach was hurting quite a bit. So I guess my question is, is that normal? Will my body get used to it? I'm quite confident it was the reaction to the protein too, my body doesn't seem to react well to too much meat and I crave fats and sugars more. (I no doubt crave them because I have way too much of them so that's probably useless for me to add..Haha.)

be sure to be drinking lots of WATER
also, protein powders tend to come with fibre and that can upset your stomach if you do it too quickly. as with any change, gradual is best.
try fish for protein: it's a god balance of healthy fats and protein and goes with pretty much everything.0 -

And that's a good point.
I will look for some frozen fish!0
