Being named after horror movie characters makes me think of people who are named after famous people.... From Office Space: Samir: No one in this country can ever pronounce my name right. It's not that hard: Na-ghee-na-na-jar. Nagheenanajar. Michael Bolton: Yeah, well, at least your name isn't Michael Bolton. Samir: You…

I've never heard of it until now. With my friends, and the particular bar that we hang out at, there's no pressure. Drink, don't drink, karaoke, don't karaoke, no one cares.

I love the plus size bikinis that don't let the belly hang out. They look awesome..and very cute.

I got married at 23 and we had our first when I was 25 and he was 30. If I could do it over, I would have waited longer. We both had good jobs and nothing holding us down. We could have traveled the world. Now, the best we can hope for is a trip to Disney.

I haven't found a way to cook them that I don't like them! All of the suggestions are great.

I think I'm gonna run a marathon. I've never even had the energy to go watch one, so it will be a big change for me.

You could probably make a 96% lean beef patty and not be too far over your calories. Beware, 96% lean beef is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I just came across the recipe for cottage cheese pancakes (as a previous poster mentioned). It looks like it would be worth a try. Maybe you could stew some strawberries with splenda to make an awesome topping. The recipe has 210 calories per serving, but it has 3 whole eggs and oil in the mix. You could play around with…

I just came across this recipe for herbed cottage cheese. It appears that people eat it as a dip. I'm still on the fence about cottage cheese. I love those little Breakstone's cottage cheese and fruit containers, but they are expensive! I need to find some sugar free preserves that I like. Anyhow, here ya go:…

Does anyone have any suggestions for easy to prepare meals that can be frozen like Lean Cuisines? I like the Lean Cuisines because of the variety.

Some foods that are named the same have different ingredients in different countries, which would account for some of the inaccuracies. Just a thought. Not a conspiracy.

I totally understand! My high school reunion is in 2 weeks and I'm not going for the same reason. You can do this!

I just found a prime example of the rounding up issue. Search for Quacker Chewy Oatmeal Raisin bar, the 90 calorie one. It's in the database 6 times. When you choose it and click show nutritional info, it shows 1.5 gms of fat...which is correct according to the package. When you add it to the diary, it rounds it up to 2.

We love ours too. We have had Amazon Prime for years and no way to stream the live video. When we moved our new phone provider gave us a Roku as a signup bonus...awesome.

I wonder at what point MFP takes it out of the database. It would be nice to click a "duplicate" button. I found a string cheese that had the right calories and fat, but when I went back and looked, it added 166 grams of protien to my day.

"It was poop" My sister had called me and said that there was something brown in the baby pool, and she wasn't sure if it was mud or poop. I guess she checked it out.

Just for an idea, Long John Silver's has 1 piece of fried pollock (think Whiting) listed as 260 calories, one husbpuppy is 60 calories, 4 ounces of coleslaw is 200 calories...

Girl...you should just plan to eat before you go. I guess the calories depend upon whether they are using cornmeal or wet batter, but it's still gonna be high. Also, you have the problem with the yummy hush puppies, tarter sauce, french fries, coleslaw, etc. I'm getting hungry thinking about it. If they are a full service…
